It's obvious lots of thought went into them as they're some of the most beautiful to come out of a conceptual shoot. I think the creative direction is one of the strongest points of Wayla Kammathep. From the stills and reels to the original soundtrack and graphic design (just learning at the end that the hands of the clock are a part of the title design 🥲). I especially love the 5-second motions that turned to full 15-second and 30-second reels. Using time to prolong time, so poignant! 😍😍 It's been one week since the end. There's still lots of thoughts, but what stands out one week later is how much crying I did alongside Khun Time... because N'Tre! 😭 His acting is commanding, moving, natural. Like living and breathing in the moment with whole heart, mind, and body. It's certainly his best performance yet. Our Time.° ⏳ Like the hands of time, we walked to the beat of our own hearts, always passing by one another. Unequal timing. Maybe it wasn't meant for us because we weren't quite ready. This theme alone tugged at my heart, having me ponder each week on the mess that time presented for Time and Trenuch. Like his name, Time was constant-- in love, fight, and passion. His character development was slow, but gradual and consistent. I felt for him most as he grew up overnight and alone for the first time. Still, he was steadfast, true to his nature as protector and maknae. Time would only stop at Trenuch (pun intended). Yet, she couldn't wait herself. I don't believe Nuch was sure of her love in the beginning, yet her expectations of Time was big. It was the beginning of my struggle to understand her, especially in that moment when I related to Time, who resolved to be conscious and nurturing of his love this time around. In their predicament, Nuch's character growth seemed to slow to a standstill. Endearingly though, she became his energy charger and voice of reason. But what I missed was her artist, entrepreneur, and portable dj spirit! Only when they knew they had missed out on each other did they come to learn that they loved each other. And love they did. We can't turn back time, but that wouldn't matter. Perhaps we're supposed to grow through something first before our time could align. Such was the outcome for Time and Nuch. Finally, our time. An actor of his caliber choosing this specific story– one that leaves him aside and puts him in the background– one that centers on womanhood, the making and breaking of the woman’s role and status in the family, home, and society; the woman’s perception of self, strength, and weakness; the woman’s governing and independence… I think this script choice alone tells you a lot about Xiao Wa Ge.
