Once my friend Henry was accused of wearing wireless headphones by a substitute so she said for him to hand them over so he took them off and handed them to her. Then later on she asked him a question and he didn’t respond so she said it louder and he still didn’t respond. She asked why he was not responding and he said “I can’t understand you ma'am, you took my hearing aids.”
#not 100% related so I'm staying in the tags#my dad passed my freshman year#it was a big thing because my family is well known#my sophomore year we did a prject in Spanish about our family#we had to say what all of then did for a living/their hobbies#i did not include my dad#the teacher asked me why and i politely said “he isnt around”#and he started berating me in the front of the classroom and calling me disrespectful#and several times other students tried to speak up#but he told them to shut up#finally i was crying and hiccupping and said#“Mi padre está muerto”#and he froze completely and went red#and a friend of mine went “sir we tried to tell you.”
