#my mom taught me some songs in bisaya when i was younger that i still remember#also i learned the spanish versions of the songs in coco in tenth grade bc of my love for the movie#and my 6 years in choir i learned diff songs in diff languages but idr what most of the languages were#ik ive sung several songs in latin#oh wait this semester also had a spanish song#okay just looked up one song i sang in 11th grade that was arabic#another i sang last semester i looked up and it says it uses both isizulu and sesotho from south africa#i feel like there are other songs in other languages i did for choir but i cant remember them rn tbh

the seven manga panels in mob psycho 100's confession arc where shigeo and mob's argument can be heard from the outside have taken up residence in my head... to the point where they're charging me rent. this is the sixth one.
here, shigeo gently chides mob for trusting his mentor reigen, who is treading carefully over wrecked pavement some distance behind him. in keeping with shigeo's deliberate othering of the man (he refuses to refer to reigen by name), i rendered him in monochrome.
this panel's art was not adapted for the anime, but its text was condensed as dialogue over a flashback. it reads:
｢あの人は… 僕を… 利用しようとしてるだけだよ…」
ano hito wa... boku wo... riyou shiyou to shiteru dake da yo...
'that man... only wants... to use me...'

the idea that restrooms, locker rooms, etc need to be single-sex spaces in order for women to be safe is patriarchy's way of signalling to men & boys that society doesn't expect them to behave themselves around women. it is directly antifeminist. it would be antifeminist even if trans people did not exist. a feminist society would demand that women should be safe in all spaces even when there are men there.

somewhere on a long dead forum there's a link that no longer works to a mod to a game nobody plays that would be a valuable contribution to the way people see level design if it got a chance to be seen. somewhere on a website that gets 15 monthly visitors there's a webcomic that woulkd inspire and resonate with you and change your life even in a small way if you could just find it. somewhere theres a music artist that would inspire you for years to come but their work just can't manage to be seen online or off. theres so many things that would change your life that just can't seem to rise to the surface and remain undiscovered and forgotten. or maybe never shared
