So today I held my Pillars of Eternity presentation which, including the quiz, ran for like four and a half hours! Multiple people are now interested in picking up the game >:3

hazanui karū is 9 years old. the life expectancy of chickens in rimworld is 6 years. she's had two heart attacks already and i'm NOT letting her go

eothas is an alpaca. he wandered off into the unnatural darkness that hurts people. not him though

i (rangi) have been trying to get an animal handler (edér) to rope eothas back to his pen (the endless paths under caed nua) but i don't think he wants to listen

I'm so glad that he can finally be happy.

sometimes I think "am I overplaying Selene's mind powers a little" and then I re-read the spell list and remember that no, ciphers just Do That

Making progress on the outfit lineup! Fresh off working on the portrait, my shading is more painterlyTM than the one I started making this lineup with, but I kind of like it, so I might just re-do the shading I already did to match this one.

Comic panels from a page I'm probably never going to finish because Selene's White March canon changed since I started making it (this scene no longer exists).

Still, I'm proud of the panels I did make! And it's technically the first piece of POE/Selene fanart I've ever made.

Got tagged by @solas-backpack-mug, thanks! Originally I intended to post a picture of my embroidery progress but you know what you can have my daily fic progress. I'm having some trouble orienting myself in my story so having some reaction to it might help.

A tankard was banged on the table in front of Waidwen with enough force to splash the Wyrthoneg both over his fingers and over the wood, filling the soft grooves of the grain with the sticky substance. Without thought he lifted his hand and licked the drink off his fingers as he mindlessly watched the liquid slowly creep across the table, soaking into the wood like he saw the dawn's rays soaking into every living being, regardless of the sun's position in the sky. The coolness of his tongue helped little against the burning. Where the wood absorbed the golden liquid, it turned a dark brown colour, soft and almost soothing. Above it sat more sparkling drops, shimmering in the firelight brightening room, almost glittering like early stars during sundown. Staring at them he could almost see his own face reflected, sprinkled over the wooden surface, first in the beads of Wyrthoneg sitting on the already soaked full spots, then in ever smaller droplets, specks sitting in the grain, so small that the grooves looked like canyons and he himself scattered between all of them, in ravines, mountains, fields without focus or reason, the only constant being an overpowering warmth.

Defiance Bay is burning and Aloth needs to tell you something 

I love the equipment in POE1. your sword's haunted. your dagger is also haunted. your cloak is haunted, your breastplate is haunted, the rings you're wearing are haunted and you'll never guess what's happening with your boots (they're haunted)

.........alright, I ran out of patience and I'm pretty happy with how Selene's portrait looks right now, so! I'm calling it done. If I ever do another POE1 run with her, I'm using it in the game.
