Hello~ I'm Yooms/Alex and I could use some help.
From unnoticed teeth grinding, my gums have recessed in all four quardants of my mouth to the point that my roots are nearly showing in their molars and premolars.
Every meal has become painful for me as their sensitivity to heat has become exponential, and though I have already gotten a custom nightguard to help with these issue, the damage has been done.
I need to get 4 separate gum graft surgeries and the first one costs $2640 alone. Any donations are highly appreciated, but reblogs are just as welcome! Thank you!

Once his wrist was free, he quickly pulls his arm back, scowling a little in annoyance. What was the point of that anyway, holding him there while he tried to run from the light zombies? Though, considering that he was (mostly) powerless, perhaps sticking with Shintaro would be beneficial, for now.
“Thanks, then. Though next time, don’t grab my wrist like that. The last thing I want is to lose this,” Kyoya mutters. He lifts his arm up, pointing to the bracelet with his other hand. He sure as hell wasn’t going to mention it’s importance, however. As far as Kyoya was concerned, that little tidbit wasn’t necessary.
“In any case, lead the way.” Hiding the bracelet under the sleeve of his hoodie, he quickly checks behind him before walking towards the alleyway.
...I wish I could have fully kept my composure when Kyoya showed that bracelet to me. Sadly, I couldn’t avoid but to jerk at seeing it. Bracelet associates with command, which associates with poison, which associates with shortness of breath and and pain and death and-
“Shintaro. Calm down. That is not the same bracelet as the one you’d see in the Killing Game. You are not in that game, or in that world anymore, even.”
Yaki’s words felt like a bucket of cold water over my agitated self. Harsh, but I needed that. Like, I was fucking rubbing my right wrist like I was feeling some sort of phantom pain in it! Talk about confusing and embarrassing... Not to count that my eyes must likely be burning red right now. Hopefully my hoodie is hiding my face well enough.
“...R-Right! The way!” I gulp, before clearing the throat. Keep calm, Shintaro. You gotta be the experienced player here! “O-Over there, c’mon.”

Seriously, Ahn-senpai can be such an impatient nag sometimes. I would know, I can be like that too when I’m in a bad mood! Thankfully, my current state of living a small power trip boosted me well enough that I could enjoy some positivity in my mind.
Now, let’s see. Hoodie is firm in my head. A bit of sunlight hits my hands, but that shouldn’t be enough to make me lose my mind. Above me, some festival lanterns hung up, filled with coins, as one would expect.
...When you stop to think about it, the whole premise of this ‘treasure hunt’ event is kind of dumb. Surely the royal estate would have control over the manufacture of these lanterns and, consequently, of the coins put inside of them. Couldn’t they just ask for whoever made the coins to directly provide those to the Light mage?
“Not necessarily. If what makes these coins special is that they were previously imbued with Light magic, then it’d be impossible for Light aligned magic users to create more of these right now, as they have been weakened. Thus, it’s a matter of retrieving these small pockets of Light magical energy in big enough amounts that Lumen can be restored to normal.”
Hmmmm, that does make sense ‘in verse’. Of course, you and I both know that the whole point of this event is simply to have ‘characters’ like us to go on a goose chase around the city while being bothered by an external force. It is the exact same premise as the first ‘event’ that we dealt with back in that other world with Masters and Servants.
Anyway, I’d better do my show already for Ahn-senpai’s sake. The balloons are way too high for me to reach by jumping, but I have come up with a way to overcome that issue. It’s 21:00, meaning that the street lights are turned on, as it would normally be time for them to lighten the night streets. Thus... they are easy ‘food’ for me to grab.
“Lightning Rod.”
By activating the boon, the lights’ electrical energy wastes no time in surging from them towards my body. I quickly feel the way that my magical energy increases at a steady pace, as it manifests in red electricity crackles and black snakes around me. ...I think I might even be generating enough static energy to hover a few centimeters.
Nice.
But well, I’m not here just to absorb electricity. I’ve gotta release it. And I know just what spell to use next.
“Divine Trident!”
In an instant, three tridents made out of red electricity manifest by my side. Usually, they would be at a reasonable size for one to handle in the same fashion as one would do with a physical weapon, but with all the energy that I managed to gather before? These bad boys have been beefed up to be like, 2 meters long!
With a swing of my arms, the tridents shoot up, piercing several lanterns before they dematerialize. Just a few second later, I can feel several coins falling by my side. Success.

Well, this was certainly a good test of his patience, now wasn’t it? Though, it would seem it wouldn’t take very long for him to snap.
“Are you fucking insane–” He was just about to pull his arm out of the other’s grasp when he saw the electric sword drop down from the heavens, only for the sight to make him freeze in surprise. And to be honest, if the blade were blue instead, it’s likely he could have mistaken it for one of her abilities. The simularities between the two, however, were enough for Kyoya to jump to a few conclusions.
Once more, he tried to pull his arm away. Yet upon seeing which arm he had ahold of, he hesitates. Staring at the bracelet around his right arm for a moment, he clicks his tongue in annoyance. He didn’t want to risk damaging it– even if it was unlikely for it to easily break.
“…Are you done?” Despite his best efforts to hide it, there was a hint of agitation in his voice, or perhaps even anger. Part of his anger was because of envy, he didn’t particularly enjoy the fact that he had no way of defending himself against the light zombies. As for the other part, well… let’s call it distrust, shall we?
“Geez, you could maybe express a bit of gratitude over me saving our asses!”
Still, I get his point. I purposefully didn’t kill these poor people, so who knows how long they’ll stay down - or if anyone else will come. I let go of Kyoya’s wrist, before pointing at an alley.
“I’ve passed by here before. I know for sure there is a store we can take cover at there, so that is our best stop for now. From there, we can check the GPS for the best route back to our apartments. How about that?”
Meanwhile, I could feel the scales on my skin receding as I contained my magical energy back into my body. I always get itchy after that...

Ah, there were times he would love to flaunt and this is one of those time, he likes that! This young man–Shintaro! What a bold move! This was a bit different from what Ahn told him but nonetheless. Exciting!!
“And Ahn didn’t really tell me that much…me peering into your timelines after stumbling into one of yours didn’t help much either. He talked a lot about you you know. Some I can’t say because I promised I wouldn’t tell him but–you know how it goes I guess.
And I am ‘time travelled’, I’m nearly 2000 years old. It’s my first time seeing something like this happen. I’ve been on numerous occasions where I have seen ghosts that were from previous timestreams or angels that can rewrite your fate but this is the first time I’ve been in a situation where people who are dead are brought back to life by some entity and when I get my Sonic back to full power…I’m going to find out what that is. If that…answers some of your question. Sorry about that! Kind of get sidetracked sometimes you know?”
I simply shrug at his remark about his real name. Not the first time that I have dealt with unpronounceable names, and I honestly don’t care about that.
“It’s not very nice to step into others’ universes just for the sake of travelling.” I point out. “I bet you know better than I am the issues with the space-time continuum that could bring, as any science fiction tale would point out.”
Nearly 2000 years old? That’s cute. Still, some of the stuff that he describes does sound like things that I’ve never witnessed before. Props to that, at least. I wonder if I reduced my air of aloofness too much by whistling at it.
“As for your question, I’ll spare you the headache and just explain it to you, if you really didn’t get it yet. This is a ‘crossover’ world, a place where beings far beyond most people’s comprehension converge and bring ‘characters’ from different realms to it for the sake of forcing them to undergo experiences and interactions they would never have to deal with at home. Get it so far?”
