that's the big issue with censorship and rpf at the end of the day. it's real people. but it's also fiction. but it is real people
there's only so much "it's fiction" you can flag around before it starts becoming, i'd like to say, slightly stalkerish ? in a way. only so much "they'll never see it" before people genuinely start question the lack of empathy towards other people's personhoods
if the fiction you're writing is based on disrespecting the human of real people, then how much of it is "fiction" and how much of it is "i feel entitled to other people's existence". it's the same baseline of lack of constent that, for example, AI deepfakes have ( not just nsfw ones, all of them )
you can write whatever you want. censorship should not be touching fiction. but the one thing true fiction and rpf are different on, is the application of morality. there is no reflection of morals in true fiction, there is an inherent morality of respect in rpf

Fanfic, and interest in fandom doesn’t have some sort of maximum age. So it’s totally fine to be like 30 and be into dream
That being said you’d think if you’re 30+ you’d have morals and realizes what we’re talking about here
there are people of all ages in this fandom and that’s perfectly okay but you’re not in a moral high ground for your age nor are you better than everyone else for thinking that it’s okay to include real life, traumatic, and triggering events as plot devices to justify even more traumatic and triggering events. if you like to fantasize about the people you stan suffering then go ahead but don’t make it my problem
