I'll never forget, during my freshman(first) year of highschool the school I went to loved to preach the whole "be whatever you want to be when you grow up" stuff. They loved it. I had a school counselor tell me that I should pick something other than a musician because "it's not a job that will support you." Okay so we’ve all seen the whole “Fundy protecting Reader from Wilbur” and that’s awesome, we love that, but hear me out;

Reader being the protective one, the one who sees Fundy is uncomfortable and pulling him out of a situation before it can get worse. They’ve been friends with Fundy since childhood, and they’ve always been the more protective of the two, and once Reader and Fundy are romantically involved it’s just the same.

Like Revivebur trying to pull the manipulation card on Fundy and Reader sees it and goes “nope. Not happening.” And just pulls Fundy out.

And later they go to Revivebur alone, and he thinks they’re being friendly and shit but no, Reader is here to throw hands.

Just snarling at Revivebur and saying “I don’t care that you say you’ve changed, I don’t care if people trust you. I’m going to be straight with you; you have one chance. If you slip up, if you take one step back, or give me one reason to think you might hurt Fundy, I will send you back to that train station in a heartbeat. Are we clear?”
