Admin update time! I’ll be scheduling posts for CHiRAL BEST (a N+C compilation CD set), SLIP ON THE PUMPS, & -DMMd period.- very soon! I’m also working on uploading the DMMd OVA (JP with ENG subs & the ENG dub) since I just got my hands on the Blu-Ray set for the anime. I may get around to doing the entire series at some point, but only if it looks like there’s a lot of interest for it — it’s available to stream legally pretty easily, so it’s not a high priority on my list at the moment.

The next batch of print media scans will likely be the re:code Material Book (sorry this has been so delayed — my health has not been great lately so I haven’t had the time to scan it fully 😅), a selection of COSMODE pages, & a few stage bromides. I do have a handful of new acquisitions that will be shipping to sbhg headquarters either sometime later this month or early next month, but I’ll update the static masterlists once they’re on the way here.

One last thing of note: for full transparency, this account is run by an adult well over 18. I realized earlier today that I hadn’t put any indicators of this on here before, so I’ve rectified that & added it to the about section of the static masterlist pages. (You could likely guess around how old I am based on how long I’ve been into DMMd for though, haha.)

Rasterize Memory DRAMAtical Murder Ending_Song_Mini_Album [Blue Ver.] (2014)

Perhaps this is a hot take, but I have a soft spot for the DMMd anime, haha. This version of Rasterize Memory comes with the full version of each character-specific ending songs, plus a bonus DVD that contains the TV-length version of each song with the ship video that's shown during the credits. OKAY HERE'S A NEW UPDATE:

1) RM is scheduled to go up tomorrow! It's possible that tumblr may eat it, but hopefully I won't have to redraft it, lol.

2) There will be a Throwback Thursday next week! Just something silly & small, but it's still something.

3) I updated a few links on my misc media list while I've been stuck at home — I might make some compilation posts at some point if folks are interested, but if not you can always check the static pages periodically to see what's new.

4) Most of the pending CDs just need scans before they're good to go, which is exciting! Expect those to be the next batch of posts once I'm able to access my scanner again.

There’s currently a lot of things for me to get through over at sbhg headquarters, so I think my next step after this batch of uploads is to organize everything & come up with a loose schedule of when to tackle what. If there’s something you are desperately interested in seeing that’s already on my to-do list, send me an ask & I’ll try to bump it up the list if it’s not extremely labor intensive (so… probably not if it’s something I’ll need to scan hundreds of pages for, haha). As a reminder, I’m just doing this for fun with my own pocket money, so timing largely comes down to how heavy my day job &/or life schedule is at the moment. Thanks for your support!

Nitro Chiral April Fools’, 2005 - 2021

Nitro Chiral recently announced that they will probably not create any new content for April Fools’ in the future. I remember really looking forward to this every year, so I was a bit sad to hear that…! They mentioned that they might change this decision again some day, so we will just have to wait and see… To remember all of the fun jokes they’ve created throughout the years I wanted to make a fun compilation of all their previous April Fools’ jokes (or at least the ones I remember and took screenshots of). Maybe someone already posted something similar, but I had a lot of fun looking at these old pictures again!

Today marks the 15th (!) anniversary of this event, so I figure it's the perfect day to post it. Though sweet pool is in the title, there's a lot of fun Togainu no Chi & Lamento content in this one. Admin housekeeping incoming — just wanted to write a few updates on some upcoming projects.

1) I've done some major redesigns to my tumblr, so hopefully it will be nicer to look at & easier to use. I will note, however, that some pages might be better suited to desktop viewing & minor decorative pieces could look a little off when viewing on a mobile browser. I don't use the tumblr app, so I'm now realizing that I have no clue how things will look there at all... whoops. If you happen to find something massively broken, send me an ask & I'll look into figuring out what went wrong. It's worth noting that I've set up redirect pages for the two old static masterlists, but you'll need to click the link on them to redirect to the new navigation page since every auto redirect code I found uses JavaScript.

2) The DMMd re:code Materials Book will take a little longer than I originally expected to get up. TL;DR, my day job has been kind of wild this month & the scanner I use was out of commission for a while. I'm hoping to finish it sometime during March, so long as no more wrenches get thrown into my plans.

3) Work on TCN 2009 is progressing relatively smoothly, so I'm still crossing my fingers for things to be finished by White Day. Eagle-eyed folks might've noticed that the new masterlist page for TCN also includes a third event... That DVD will be arriving at some point in the future, but I'll likely work on it during the summer/fall so I can upload some other items first.

4) I have... a lot of things to scan. Like a LOT. We're talking probably close to 1k scans. It's immensely tedious. I will get through everything eventually, but if things get slow around here, it's likely because I'm in scanning hell.

5) Some VK things will eventually be posted on here as well, primarily because I just want someplace to put them. It won't become the focus of this account, & some of it will be of interest to DMMd fans anyway.

6) Lastly... If you're interested in seeing something in particular on here, send me an ask. I can't make any promises — especially if I don't have access to whatever it is — but I will take note if it seems like there's a big interest in something. I'm just one person & I'm paying for everything with my own funds, so please keep that in mind.

I’m sure someone must have pointed this out before… but the Rhyme Addict’s field in DMMd is a corrupted version of the Okinaga’s kitchen/living area in sweet pool… This is such a fun touch to add to the game, I love it!

While I don't have a working copy of the game itself, I did manage to pick up a sealed copy of the re:code soundtrack earlier this year. It's intended to be an addendum to the original soundtrack, which is why it only contains four tracks. A perfect treat for Valentine's Day, I think!

I'm sure many of you are already following their work, but I just wanted to take a moment to highlight some other folks who are also doing a lot of cool things related to N+C content!

The Denpa Archive contains some content relating to sweet pool, DMMd, & Slow Damage (including fan translations for Clean Dishes), but it’s a wonderful resource in general for folks who are interested in denpa.

NitroChiral Degenerate posts a lot of N+C merch, event-related photos, & scans — they also recently started a tumblr!

vogue-man isn’t N+C specific, but they have a massive collection of GOATBED’s releases; they’re currently working on updating a lot of their links, but it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re into music like I am.

yukirayu has a whole host of fan translations, as well as a large amount of Slow Damage-focused content (including the CHiRAL LIVE 2022 post I reblogged earlier today).

If you have any other contemporary recommendations you’d like to share, you’re welcome to send me an ask! I’m sure there are many, many other folks out there doing archival work, so thank you for all of your hard work! 🖤

We all hate not getting to attend the live events or watch the livestreams, but it happens sometimes. 

However, everyone deserves to watch the CHiRAL Live x Slow Damage concert, so I’m providing the download link for that. The catch is that the resolution is only 480p, but everything should still be clear enough for watching.

THE CHiRAL NIGHT -Dive into DMMd- Live at Tokyo Dome City Hall 2013

In honor of the 10th anniversary of this event, I decided to embark on a personal project to archive it & share it with fellow fans. This year also marks my own 10th anniversary — I first played a fan translation of DMMd in 2013 & found myself immediately connected with its music. This truly was a labor of love to undertake, but I’m happy that I can celebrate this milestone with you all.

Hello, and thank you — I’m glad that folks are making use of these assets!

If you’re referring to the Aoba that appears in Koujaku’s bad end, there’s actually no sprite set present — the ending CG is the only time he appears in DMMd in that specific form. (Note: It’s possible that these sprites may exist in re:code &/or re:connect, but I unfortunately don’t have access to either so I’m unable to check. 🙇🏻‍♂️) However, there is a transparent version of that particular CG without the cell bars (ev146覚醒紅雀と覚醒蒼葉b) that might be of use to you!

In the off-chance that you’re actually referring to the “awakened” version of Aoba that appears during the true route, check the subfolder marked “special” in Aoba’s main sprite folder.
