I don't just want Alastor to frown or stop smiling.

I want him to cry. I want him to sob. I want to see snot running down his face and hear his voice waver as we babbles, barely able to make out full words.

I want to watch him hiccup and wail and cry like a child in distress in front of everyone.

Then.

I want to watch as he stands back up, blood pouring from his wounds and snot pouring from his bloodied nose with tears still falling.

Anger flaring in his eyes.

Then I want to watch as he kills that wretched witch with nothing but his bare hands.

The idea of him rejecting Vox's was already hilarious, but when i realized the Vees were a polycule, it made it so much funnier-

Because like, this could go down 3 ways

1.) Alastor was being really generous here. Telling the public that he rejected Vox when Vox was in love with him would have done so much more damage. He chose not to, either bc he doesn't find it as entertaining, or bc he maybe feels a little bit of pity for the guy.

2.) Alastor knows, same as above, except he doesn't say it purely because he's so creeped out by it. He's so fcking disgusted by it, he'd rather not be reminded.

3.), The most PROBABLE one, and for me, most hilarious, is that Alastor doesn't know shit. Look, this is the guy who doesn't know his own SEXUALITY, not even when his bestie Rosie knows. He doesn't know he's ace, nor does he bother to pay attention. He probably, GENUINELY thought Vox was just offering to work together, and found it so amusing that Vox is so worked up by it. Like to him, the guy was throwing a tantrum bc he didn't join their team, how childish (what? He rejected him? Why yes, he rejected a job offer, that much was quite obvious thank you for noticing). So there's just this guy dealing with a rejection, absolutely batshit obsessed with him, and Alastor still thinks its bc of a silly lil teamup.

Edit: Confirmed they aint canon poly, which will not stop fanon lmaoooo. They're poly in my heart😔😔✨✨✨ Also the fact that they're called a Vee(a sort of poly relationship) and their vibes being a complete coincidence is hilarious to me lmao. This is another destiel situation lmaooo

I never understood why fans wanted their favourite characters to suffer so much... until now. Now I get it. I get it. I want him to suffer. I want him to bleed. I want him to hit rock bottom so hard he smashes right through and keeps falling. I want him to break down and cry.

Then I want him to win.

Lucifer throws rubber ducks at Alastor to shut him up.

It actually worked for the first few times too, because it was so random that it caught him off guard, as very few things do. With his large collection and how very few of his creations he was actually proud of, Lucifer had a lot of ammunition. He wasn’t about to embarrass himself by scrambling to get them back afterwards, but he did wonder what happened to them. Incinerated, he would guess.

But no, Alastor likes entertainment, and after he got over the fact the literal King of Hell’s best line of defense was rubber ducks, he was very entertained by the little things. There was a growing collection in his radio tower, and he had learned quickly that there was more to them than met the eye. He’d been quite displeased when one had left his coat singed from spitting fire, but despite all their tricks, none were particularly harmful.

Alastor hadn’t been sure where these ducks were coming from, but after plucking one off the floor that had a remarkable resemblance to the Radio Demon himself, he was beginning to suspect they weren’t exactly off the shelf. And wasn’t that a thought, the devil himself spending hours meticulously crafting toys. Even more so interesting that he spent some of that time making one of a demon he hated so much. But he keeps them all the same.

Chucking them at Alastor’s head becomes a whole lot less effective at getting him to shut the fuck up after a while. That didn’t stop Lucifer from wanting to throw things at him, and it wasn’t destructive to the hotel in the process. Probably not a bad thing, to be clearing out his room of so many ducks. And if a certain gothic tower is now full of them instead, well… who’s to say.

This whole sequence reads to me like the two of them pushing back and forth at each other with their radio waves. Fighting over who's going to be the one broadcasting. When Alastor wins, he steps out of the red portion and is in the blue. Leaving Vox in the red. Meaning he's taken over the waves for the time being and Vox is stuck on the back burner. And that Alastor is probably the stronger of the two when it comes to control of the radio waves themselves.
