I want to make a physics based/kinetic platformer so bad

Devlog 3/7/24
Added:
Camera Sensitivity Slider! The most requested addition.
Controller input now supports camera movement
level complete notification now accounts for shards
"better" graphics
Fixed:
Eira being able to move during some cutscenes
Character Icons flashing before inspecting objects
Eira being able to bypass the load zone in the dream sequence and enter the castle
Midnight flight dialogue being triggered out of order
Thank you to all who have let me know about bugs and suggested features that would improve the gameplay experience. The game is in a much more solid state than it was when I first released it. I will continue making improvements as I work on chapter 2, which is well under way! Thank you for your patience with it as I'm just one person and life has been challenging recently.
I hope to have more updates on chapter 2 soon!

“Space cats” from my oldest game idea; Scorchiana! People who’ve been following me for like 10 years might remember them. I actually started Daybreak in Snowhere as practice for Scorchiana lol
Space cats are giant, scientifically minded creatures and the creators of Scorchiana’s planet. However, they consider it a failed experiment and are planning to recycle the materials.

Coloring sketchbook doodles on my phone
#ichabod#arch vertigo#they’re a candy corn themed candle demon I made up like 13 years ago or something...#their pronouns are they/them now#they’re the main character in a really unfinished story that has barely any plot lol#but I still think about it occasionally#the premise was that ichabod’s village burns down and they have to go get help#and meet the moon shadow demon Yoruo and start traveling together#but it turns out yoruo is on the run and people want to kill him#but ichabod falls in love with him and after he gets captured ichabod has to save him#sketchbook#doodle

Quickly modeled my beloved ocarina for some practice with Blender's boolean modifier.
I got her in like 2011 or so from STL Ocarinas, iirc she's called the Infinity Ocarina. I don't know how to read music but I play my ocarina a lot and come up with songs on it!

A little sneak peak of the first level of chapter 2, the Shivering Woods!
The Shivering Woods is a huge quaking aspen forest just north of Candlelight Cliffs. Eira will have to navigate through the maze of trees if she wants to reach Flaxenfair, the next closest village. Luckily there are some hints to help her find the way!
