Do you have any tips about drawing scenery/backgrounds? I really love your art style!
I've given bg tips a couple times before (1) (2) (3) (4) but here's something I don't think I've said before or at least not in so many words and at the risk of sounding corny: even if you're not great at backgrounds... just do it. throw a silly lil bg down on everything you draw whenever you can. a lot of artists out there never ever draw backgrounds and even the most bare bones bg stuff will set your art apart. like it's a game changer. and its such an effective storytelling tool you can say so much abt character with a bg, set a mood, etc.. i think a lot of growing artists treat it as a chore but it can be rly fun, have fun with it!
everyone has a ship thats just: theyre perfect. they hate each other. theyre married. they havent spoken in 15 years. they have date nights three times a week. theyre divorced. theyre pining, its unrequited. its requited. theyre starcrossed. theyre meant to be. theyre doomed by the narrative. they love each other. theyve never held hands. they wont stop making out at parties. they cant look each other in the eye
