Can't say he was all too thrilled to be foisted into the fray by this small, sassy child. But at least he was more lively than the other two. Davaa watched the pathetic display of a dying sparkler when the red - headed devil called for him to attack like some sort of (Twisted Wonderland branded) Pokemon.

DAVAA rolled a [ 20 to hit ]
He whips out his pen, smoothly twirling it with his long fingers before outstretching his arm to point the ghoul right in the chest.
and [ 3 for damage. ]
The same attack was preformed that Ace had just done. Small sparks and all. He twirls the pen again, dramatically, before jamming it back into his pants pocket as if it were a holster.
LIBRARIAN GHOST misses it's attack!

“Believe what you will, but I am not being grumpy.” He commented, leaving it at that, hardly reacting to the slap to his back. They had better things to do than joke around.
As the doors opened, he turned to look at them, intrigued. Not because of the doors, no but what was inside. How peculiar to have books floating about. He couldn’t help but to reach out and grab one…. or so he thought as he felt a chilling sensation travel down his arm as a ghostly figure emerged, having grabbed his hand instead.
“Gentlemen, it seems we have company.” He calmly said, pulling out his pen with his free hand. Now was the perfect opportunity to attack, point blank.
Solaris rolled an 11 and 19 for damage: It hit for 2 damage
Librarian Ghost rolled a 5 for damage and missed
Librarian Ghost HP: 3/5
Solaris wasted no time in using a wind spell on the ghost, effectively dealing damage and getting the thing to let go of him. Once it did, he jumped back towards his teammates.
Next up: @cardhearted
Despite his loud protests about entering the castle, the group insisted, determined to find the precious magestone. The atmosphere was eerie as they entered what Ace would describe as ‘Sebek’s second natural habitat’. “Library…” the redhead whines quietly to himself, displeased with the scenery. Why did it have to be a library? “Seeing what-” his question was cut short as a white silhouette materialized before the group — a ghost encounter?! Although Solaris was able to cause some damage to their foe, it wasn’t enough to put it back where it came from.
“Alright, leave it to me!” he calls out, readying himself to attack the malicious spirit.
ACE rolls a 16 & 3 for DAMAGE: 0.5 DMG HIT!
A small spark leaves the freshman's magic pen, scorching the ghost in the process. "I did it!"
LIBRARIAN GHOST HP: 2.5 HP
LIBRARIAN GHOST rolls for DAMAGE: 0.5 DMG HIT!
ACE HP: 4.5 HP
"Was that supposed to hurt? Davaa, take over!" stepping back and away from the ghost he keeps a tight grip on his magic pen.

Why is everyone so mean to him? He did nothing wrong! It was obvious there was no one else around living or otherwise. And he was just about to make a very astute comment about why there's stained glass in an entirely monochrome world. But now everyone has been miraculously transported elsewhere. Again. Davaa didn't let the jeers of his peers get to him though, nonchalantly turning his chin upwards to scan the landscape before them.
"Lame." a mumble. He moves to right, latching onto Solaris' arm in a teasing display of helplessness, "See? We get a do over! You don't haveta' be so grumpy, Jackie's got that covered." - before detaching himself and giving the other a firm slap on the back. "Speaking of, I think Jack should lead the way here. If anyone is gonna see or hear odd shit it's him."

The monochromatic scene before Solaris was something highly intriguing, something he wished to study most eagerly. But alas, that would have to be put on the side for now as he had 2 tasks for this mission. Get the magestone, and make the ghosts regret messing with him. He could study later if the time permitted.
Solaris hadn’t even noticed that his team was different, at least not until a certain someone shouted.
Glancing back at Davaa, he was glad at least Jack seemed to be of the same mindset as he. “My thoughts exactly. Now we do not have a strategic advantage.” He would have to reassess his plans, both for the change in team and now this disturbance. Pulling out his notes, he began studying them, occasionally taking in his surroundings.
The lack of Azul and Malleus by his side was the first red flag — the scream coming from Davaa’s lips, the rustling of Solaris’ notes and Jack were the next three. At this point in time, he wasn’t sure whether he should be happy with the new team arrangement, or if he should be worried. Taking a quick glance at Jack, he concluded it might be the latter.
“I don’t know about you guys, but I think we should find a way out of here.” he suggests, taking in the monochromatic surroundings of the Ghost Realm. “Or try to find others…” he takes a few steps on the bizarre staircase attempting to make progress in their search. Except this task got this much more complicated as their surroundings changed unexpectedly. The staircase was no more and instead they stood at the entrance of a haunting castle.
“You’ve gotta be kidding…”

Yikes is right. He wasn’t even prepared to fight ghosts with his own team, now he’s gotta battle the ghoul realm with this guy, that kid, and Jack. Davaa’s deadpan exclamation of dread and frustration did little to portray he was actually perturbed. He was at least 2% perturbed.
The following deep sigh did more to get across the exhaustion. He scratched the back of his head, then craning his neck to survey his immediate surroundings. More tacky architecture. Super!
Davaa cups his hands around his mouth as if about to shout. “YOOOOOO!” then he shouts. Just the three of them, and himself. “Huh. This sucks. Bet we're not even getting financial compensation, what if I develop a disease in 20 years?”

That riles a croaking chuckle from the back of his throat, so inhuman Idia wasn’t even sure it was possible to ever recreate and record. ( Thankfully. ) For that, he could only be thankful that their communication was lended through online chat purposes and that Idia, as usual, fit snug in his chair in his own room —— away from everyone, barely even listening in to the quiet buzz of lecturing through his tablet. It made both replying to the other and attending classes in the first place gain a X10 EFFICIENCY boost, especially when most of the curriculum being presented he already knew the basics of as-is. No need to put in anymore effort when he was graciously blessed with this surprise gift.

What's it feel like? To be seen? Be known? The horrifying ordeal and all that. I guess once you're in contact with someone for years you get to know them despite it all. The mannerisms, the personality, typing style, etc. But you'll never really know whats on the other side of the screen. Davaa himself was a straight faced person. He hardly emotes but it's the exact opposite online. Nobody would expect it. When the picture is sent back he sits up, back straightening which lends him a good foot of lost height when he's slouching. Whatever got his attention isn't the class but what's on his laptop screen.

Hands move quickly and without much thought —— they can whip something up quickly enough whether or not his tablet is plugged in, he didn’t spend 18 years mastering the usage of technology for nothing. Granted, a stabilizer might’ve been nice in this scenario to counteract how shaky lines were coming out. Either way, he didn’t think much of it, because there was no need to. No matter what he sent, the other would ( if he had to guess, probably ) burst into cheers on his own end, jolt from his seat, pace in a circle, only to return and ( more than likely ) explain that was exactly what he did.
After a moment, he presses enter, and what he sends really isn’t any better. A crude smiley-face atop his own lazy rendition of a horse — Idia could’ve tried if he wanted to, but he didn’t, so the other end would just have to make due with whatever he got on his own end. Child scribbling through and through.

A piece of digital art clearly done on a default app of some kind. Regardless, it was unnecessarily nice. A landscape, a bit impressionistic but most likely hindered by the medium. It's best to be impressionistic, just cohesive enough to be a detailed landscape but abstract enough for mistakes to hardly be mistakes. Although, it appeared he had given up halfway through and the right side of the piece was unfinished with just a few lines and instead was a poorly drawn horse to fill the void.
Davaa was well slumped in his seat, the lecture having gone on long; or at least felt that way. You know, the type of professor who gets derailed all too easily and starts a never ending anecdote about their life. Unrelated to the actual lesson of course! Class is basically over so time to shoot the shit with his brother in clout. / @s-essha

INFILTRATION PREPARATION!
Each defense team, under the decree of Headmage Crowley, has been given a week to prepare for infiltrating the Ghost Dimension. Bond with your team and fellow residents of Ramshackle Dormitory as you prepare for infiltration, or spend the time investigating circumstances around campus. A week hardly gives any time to prepare; choose your next actions wisely.
DEFENSE EXAM TEAMS.
[ SPAR ] - Test your skills through an organized practice match with a classmate.
[ DISAGREE ] - Have a disagreement with a member of your appointed Defense Exam Team, whether you are able to mediate this is up to you!
[ TAG ] - Recreate a ghost chase. Sender chases the receiver around to help them practice escaping from an enemy.
[ CHASE ] - Start chasing after what you believe is an “apparition”, only to be disappointed.
[ WARP ] - Get warped across campus alongside the receiver. Neither of you are able to figure out the cause of your sudden appearance in a new location.
[ TRAPPED ] - Explore a closet with the receiver, only to find that the door has closed, and the two of you are now trapped inside.
[ ARSON ] - Play with fire together.
[ MISHAP ] - Have a spell go wrong during practice, either causing damage to campus grounds or to your own team.
[ PIECE ] - Create a pair of communication mirrors together, preparing for the upcoming excursion.
[ CHARM ] - Craft protection charms together, hoping for some good luck to come your way.
[ RATIONS ] - Prepare emergency rations to ready yourselves for the excursion.
SNEAKING AROUND AFTER CURFEW.
[ RAID ] - Scavenge the campus after hours for any potential supplies for your ‘trip’.
[ BREAK - IN ] - Break into the school’s dorms, checking to see the status with the poor weather and destruction.
[ TRESPASS ] - Break into Night Raven University’s faculty area with the receiver, hoping to find clues.
[ MIRROR ] - Break into the mirror hall with the receiver to see where it can take you.
[ LEAVE ] - Make an attempt to leave campus alongside the receiver, only to find out that you cannot.
[ PATROL ] - To make rounds patrolling the campus at night with the receiver, keeping your eyes out for any suspicious activity.
INTERROGATE YOUR PEERS.
Communication is a vital component to success. Retrace the events that have occurred across campus in order to size your enemy and evaluate the state of affairs on campus. Each of your peers have had at least one encounter with the opposing forces. Only a fool would choose to embark into the ghost realm blindly– Be prepared.
