Laeyna had always been quiet and calm, even as a young child, but when her parents were killed, she had to become an adult very suddenly (at 13.)

She subsequently became someone who is sharp, severe, and impossible to read. She doesn't react outwardly enough to display emotion in any meaningful way. She made herself tough, unshakable, and cold. Nothing gets in, nothing gets out.

Laeyna ALWAYS means what she says. It's a definitive part of her character.

Laeyna and Ildyen are some of my favorite ocs and it's because they both suck. They blend so well into the Elder Scrolls universe because they are both people who are, at a surface level, terrible to be around. Just like every single Elder Scrolls NPC.
