I would say write chapter three. If you feel like chapter two is a bit mid, write three and maybe four, then look back on them collectively because you'll then see how they connect and it might look a lot better to you—if not, you can always then go back and edit two, because you know where it's headed now and include some more threads linking them up.
Whatever you write, I'm sure it's going to be great 💖

Like hi, hello, that cute little 10cm critter has enough venom to down over 20 adults in minutes and you won’t even feel it bite you, you’ll just suddenly realise you can’t breathe because your lungs are paralysed and that’s that. Like if you don’t end up dead you could end up blind at the very least. Oh and it’s PRETTY? I hate to break it to you but it’s lighting up that colour because you PISSED IT OFF. It’s big mad homie. Put it down. Now.

I’m behind on all my comment replies, I’ll get to them tomorrow I promise 🥰 but I’m stuck in a scrolling cycle of reels and I’m just….why do people touch the wildlife?? Like?? People who have grown up here be touching things they should NOT be touching unless they wanna die.

Just came from AO3 to say that your writing is some of the best that I have ever read! Your character writing of Xaden is phenomenal and personally I think better than Fourth Wing. It drew me to him as a character when it never did in the original. You gave him depth and personality that he had originally lacked and I LOVE it.
Remi and Bodhi are a fantastic friendship duo and I’m glad that there was no drawn out drama over their brief fling and they can continue on being friends.
I’m excited to see where the rest of the story goes and how all the relationships evolve in Truth & Talon.
I also appreciate that you kept my baby angel Liam alive.
I love your work and have to admit I will be rereading it again. Thank you for publishing your amazing story💕 appreciate you and all the time you put into writing!

Are you scared of heights, like, our favorite queen, Remi, in real life?
Because they absolutely terrify me, which sucks for the job I'm going to be doing over the summer.
Not like her, no, I just thought it would be interesting to have a rider who is scared of heights, because she never chose to be there, you know?
I have an appropriate fear of heights haha, like if I’m up a skyscraper I’m definitely not looking down, but that’s everyone…right? Haha. Except people who go skydiving but they’re weird.

The major steps forward, poking at the wall of shadows Xaden’s erected around us and I stiffen, gritting my teeth as I eye him distrustfully. I’ve unfortunately grown used to his slimy presence, but his hand anywhere near my partner is enough to make me nauseous.

👀 Do you have any WIPs that you would never let see the light of day? If yes, what are they about?
👻 What is one WIP you think you may never pick back up?
I feel like these are mostly going to have the same answer—probably the scribe-Violet AU I started before I began Fear & Flame. I only got 15k into it and then decided I wanted to write Remi and I didn't care how unpopular and cringe people might find an OC. That decision turned out really, really well
In general I just don't think I'll pick it back up because there are so many other things I want to work on instead, and there are also a bunch of scribe Violet fics floating around now (there were none at the time when I started writing it).
I don't think it's wrong to write the same type of fic of course, if one is already out there, I just don't think it's worth the time and effort unless you can bring something completely new to the table. Like could I write an arranged marriage AU? Totally. But why would I when I could just go and read storm in the quiet.
There are so many opportunities in a fandom this small, so many things that haven't been done that could be so much fun, so to me they're more worthwhile. I want to read all the things, I write because I can't find the thing I want to read 😌

🏅 What is something you recently felt proud of in regard to your writing (finished a fic, actually planned for once, etc).
I'm just proud to have finished anything, ever. This past twelve months is the first and only time in my life I've been able to finish the things I've written & to get such a great response from everyone regarding them is just the cherry on top 🥹
😈 Is there anything you enjoy doing that you think your readers hate?
I don't think so? I don't think there's a lot of things you guys hate 😂 I mean, come at me in the comments if there is, but I can't think of any. Not necessarily hate, but I know a lot of people would like a Xaden POV or a dual POV, but that just isn't me. I like the mystery, I like the reader to not know what he's thinking—that's how it is for Remi, so that's how it should be for you. It's also the reason I don't read dual POV romance books in general and I feel like I'm an outlier in that.
💭 What is a headcanon you have about your own work?
I mean, I have headcanons about the Remi's Version world and the Fourth Wing world in general...but I'm not sharing them because you'll find out later in the fic 😉

💖 What do you like most about your own writing?
I love that it connects with so many people on a really deep level, I think that's really special.
😐 What embarrasses you most about your own writing?
I don't think there's much I'm embarrassed by. I struggle with a few things sometimes—tenses, proper punctuation & I'm really terrible at tagging, but I'm probably too old to be embarrassed by those things.
📥 What is your fave fic to receive comments/messages on?
I love the comments I receive on Remi's Version, because they get really emotional sometimes and I know it's touched some people deeply, but I also love getting comments on Siren. It's my least popular fic (probably because it's OC/OC) but I love Stella and I really love her and Caden's journey together. It was fun to write.
