Can you modify a doll body as long as you keep the part where the soul stone is encased intact?
Like with that clay doll, could you keep the torso and then mod the doll to be ball-jointed? Or would it count as destroying the vessel/the soul wouldn't be able to control the new limbs/some wacky 3rd option? : O
It’s works somewhat like this
The parts that are close to the gem are non removable non detachable, and the parts further away from it are
Depending on the gem placement the removable and non removable parts changes
The the parts that are close to the gem is more sensitive, for example you when hit a doll in the head, if the gem is placed in the head the doll will scream bloody murder n come n get ya, if the gem is placed in the leg then the doll will barely feel a thing
There’re of course special cases, like Nato/Heart, their soul gem is placed in their heart area, which was made to be a detachable part, when it’s removed, his body can still work normally as if the gem is there in his chest.
You don’t have to follow there’s no strict rules in this universe, be creative and have fun
