my predictions/wishes for future skam nl seasons (based on imaan not returning, if she does return on the show i would obviously want her season)
season 3: lucas, we’ve just said goodbye to the girl squad (more or less) and i think it’s likely that if we get a season 3, they follow the og and it will be lucas’s.
season 4: janna, i’d love to see janna be lucas’s biology buddy if imaan is not there, which leads to more insight in her character, followed by her season! it could be about her bisexuality, her ideas about free love, her “let it go” attitude, her home life and so on.
season 5: engel, yes, here is the lesbian engel season we all want and deserve, which is i think a natural progression following the aforementioned seasons. after seeing lucas come out and janna be openly herself engel questions her own sexuality. bonus if she starts dating a muslim girl and faces her prejudices, this way we could also have a season that has a focus on islam even with imaan being absent. engel’s eating disorder could also be a topic.
