writing, high, at night: wow this is some of the best stuff i have ever written in my life. my imagination and creativity are above and beyond. this is spectacular. words flow from my hand freely. i am not even in control. the story has possessed my body and the only thing i can do now is spill it onto the page. behold, my glory.
reading in the morning: this is some of the worst writing i have ever done. incomprehensible. what is going on? i certainly don't know.

yes i am going to undermine jasnah’s authority as queen, and i will give former highprince ruthar a home because i’ve decided that his former title is more important than the fact that this dude is a literal child abuser.
queen fen isn’t an absolute monarch, and i’ve decided that means her form of government is bullshit. never mind the kingdom i have lived in isn’t even fifty years old, and hers has centuries over mine. maybe when this war is done i can help her carry out a coup so she can have All The Power.
i hope taravangian lives long enough to see how right i am about everything.
yes, maybe i’m starting my own offshoot of vorinism, or maybe a whole new religion of my own. this seems reasonable.
kaladin, you have ten days to cure ishar, a mentally unstable man who has endured centuries of torture and war, so i can pick his brain about bondsmithing. yes, i see this as a reasonable request.
he really is like…the biggest clown in the book. and NALE is in this book too.

i have gone through three audiobooks in two weeks because im procrastinating reading my physical book. why am i like this.
also the books i read were The Ninth House by Leigh Bardugo, I'm Thinking of Ending things by Lain Reid, and For the Wolf by Hannah Whitten. Would recommend all, but the Ninth House was something really good.
