He would deal with the lectures later. He got Quinn home safe, that was what mattered. She really drove him insane the night before; he figured her inevitable and raging headache this morning would come close to how he felt hearing she was at One Eyed Jacks of all places and drunk and alone.
"I don't know any other coffee in this town." He shrugged, setting the cup on his nightstand. "Not drinking your body weight can also ensure no hangovers." He remarked, taking a sip of his own coffee.
Quinn woke up in his bed. She checked her phone and had a bunch of texts and missed calls from her brother. She quickly replied back, telling him she was alive, before laying her head back down on the pillow. The room was starting to spin.
She heard footsteps and then she smelled to coffee before the door even opened. "Oh my God is that Double R coffee?" She asked Marcel. "That stuff is hangover cure."

Lux looked back to him with a furrowed brow then her expression softened. He wanted to kiss her. She remembered the jealousy that bubbled in her chest as the world watched his famed kiss with Katniss. Lux wanted to wipe that from his mind if she could; or at least beat it. She smiled softly at him and took a step forward, reaching down to his hands to place them at her waist. Then her hands found his chest gently, one hand sliding up his neck to his jaw. Her eyes met his and she felt her heart flutter. Her forehead met his first before she leaned in to softly press her lips to his.
The only girl he had ever kissed was Katniss. And that was in front of the entire world. It wasn't how he wanted his first kiss to be. Peeta smiled shyly, shaking his head back and forth. "No, no. I.. I would want you to kiss me." He admitted quietly out loud. Peeta's words were quiet even though there was no one around. "I would like that a lot, actually."

Before the group's adventure, he'd grown used to solitude or rather he thought he had. Perhaps it was just the absence of her. It was his own doing but the wizard was too prideful and stubborn in his own right to fully admit it. He didn't understand why she couldn't see all the potential in his endeavor? They could do this together. It was bold to approach her as she sharpened her axe, or very very stupid. He'd find out. His words were met with a sigh and finally a glance.
The pain in her eyes struck a nerve deep in his chest, far more gnawing and painful than the orb could ever inflict. I love you. Beautiful words that seemed to cut rather than soothe. He wanted to give in to impulse and argue back, interrupt, but he felt two inches tall and he could not speak from such a distance. "Do not turn your back on me." He finally spoke up, the quick tone surprising even him. "Please."
Gale sighed. "I am trying to do this for the both of us. For all of us. The possibilities are endless. If you could just see that instead of condemning me so quickly for that ambition when I've fully supported yours-" The wizard cut himself off, the words falling off quickly like bitter wine.

The wizard admired her bravery and tenacity, but the selfishness sat within him wanted her out of harm's way - a ridiculous notion for their current path of life. And despite how much seeing fight made his heart skip a beat, it was drowned out by the worry within. It took more to restrain him than his comrade likely expected from him but she was hurt; he needed to get to her. He gave minimal space for Shadowheart's healing, finally pushing through when he couldn't bare it anymore. "Weave save us." He could finally breathe once she was in his arms and the breath was shaky at best. His hand cradled the back o of her head and held her impossibly close. "Sometimes I swear you want to die before we find a cure for this parasite." He remarked with a heavy sigh. "But that is not happening, do you understand?"

"Yes, you. The shape is nearly perfect." At least from what she could tell. Tieflings had all kinds of shapes to their horns, now she was curious as the girl mentioned fairies. "Fairies?" She'd never met a fairy before, heard one curse from inside a lantern though. "Why the hells wouldn't they like them?" Alfira frowned. "I know a few people who would be jealous." She tried to reassure her.
"Bare basic genetics then." It didn't take a genius to gather that wasn't a good thing for the girl. "They're your horns, not his."
Fleur looked at the girl. "Oh, me?" She asked looking around. "Really? Thanks." The fairy said softly. "Yeah, I keep them covered...some of the other fairies don't like them." No one close to her over course. Her friends and family had always told her they were beautiful and part of who she was. Though she knew that others were scared of what she was.

In a way, Wednesday reminded Aria of her older brother in the sense of insisting they're too cold to have a heart but Lee had one, logical conclusions could be that Wednesday did too.
"And that is still not your fault. Would you like a curve ball then? A long time ago, my brother was out and about and he heard shouting. Someone was in danger. He took off to save the day and as a result of that, some very bad men took out a child's eye. Do you think that it as Lee's fault or the fault of the people wanting to cause harm?"
"I'm never warm, I prefer a deathly sort of chill." The raven haired psychic told the blonde. "Like a morgue freezer." but perhaps Aria was growing on her - like poison ivy, but growing all the same. Kind of like how Enid had. "It's merely a logical conclusion, my arrival at Nevermore created a chain reaction of events that culminated in people ending up in danger. While I didn't physically put them in danger, my presence acted as the catalyst."
