Yule WIP #1 and Jaiden Animations Pokemon Platinum MC WIP #1

This is as far as I got with cutting out pieces for both dolls and drawing the faces for embroidering. What isn't shown is the mock-up of the floppy beanie for the Jaiden doll and I haven't cut out the fur for Yule yet.

Yule's hair is canonically white, but since I didn't have a different shade of white I elected to use gray to have a bit of color separation.

I might just skip doing Joval Franky because the only reference picture I have isn't helpful with what colors I need and the color palette the artist mentioned was 'peppermint colors' which didn't really help since the shades in the picture are really desaturated. So even though I'd like to make a doll of the character in that costume, I'm getting overwhelmed trying to figure out which clothes should be what color.

So the doll that'll be taking Joval Franky's place is:

Now that Vane and Shiny Unowns O-U are finished, my next two projects are;

Shiny Unown O-U WIP #2

S, T, and U are done. The only letter I have left to finish from the group is O.

The letter U could stand to be a bit bigger and I think I should make the curve bits wider.

Shiny Unown O-U WIP #1

Well technically letters O, S, T, and U. I didn't realize that I had already done P, Q and R from that grouping. I'm gonna have to trim down the connector bits for U and I hope the circle parts I made for O and U are wide enough. I tried to keep the dolls relatively the same size as the ones I've already made, but I might have to go back and redo the circle parts.

Vaneiros 'Vane' Adour Althant is finished!

Vane WIP #4

Finished embroidering the face and sewn the head together. I'll be attaching the head to the body tomorrow then adding some details to the clothes. If progress goes smoothly tomorrow then I should be done with Vane sometime in the evening.

Vane WIP #3

Finished his eyebrows not too long ago, but I really wanted to say this: Vane has the deepest of blue eyes that I've ever seen. XD Yeah I had it that he has dark blue eyes, but this is like dark dark blue. I don't mind it, just thought it funny that the blue floss I pulled out would be as dark as it was once I started embroidering.

Vane WIP #2

Got his clothes sewn together and I kinda like the baby blue with the lavender, though not sure how I feel about the white shoes. I'll probably make a black and brown pair to see if either of those match better.

Made more risers and rearranged the dolls so the Relni dolls are more together rather than the dolls sorted in the order of their creation.

Vane WIP #1

This is as far as I got before calling it a night. Hopefully the color scheme I choose for his clothes match since I think I introduced him wearing pastels. In the picture I gave him a white shirt, baby blue vest, and lavender tailcoat with lavender pants. Also I kept wondering what color shoes I should give him so that it matches and decided white was a safe choice.

Now that Vastrun Nymera Starting Outfit and Feywild Marigold are finished, my next two projects are:

Feywild Marigold is done!

I ran out of the original flowers I used for the first Mary doll, so I used a couple of other flowers I had on hand as well as the last one. Then I made some flowers for the coat and put them in places because the flowers were described to be shifting and moving.

Vastrun Nymera Starting Outfit is finished!

Not sure what happened, but the ears I used for Mary are smaller than the ears I used for the first doll. Looks like I'll put 'figure out the lion ear pattern' on the to-do list for after I'm done with the dolls and figure out the next two dolls I'll be doing.

Feywild Marigold and Vastrun Nymera Starting Outfit WIP #4

The heads are put together and stuffed. Need to paint on the purple steaks in Nym's hair and sew on Mary's hair strands and side burns then I can attach the heads to the bodies. Poor Mary looks so tired because of the stitches! XD
