Things that I like to point out
The world tree told him that it would be actually beneficial for him
Like how the hell, what will happen when he stab his freaking heart, is his plate gonna became sturdier or something.
Love how Cale is actually thinking in the emotional burden that is going to be for his friends, family and allies to watch him stab himself for the greater good.
The level of legend that Clopeh is going to turn cale into hahaha imagine him telling the tale "and then when all seem lost, the greatest hero that has ever existed took a step forward and stab his heart" *Tears dramatically falling*
Ron noticing right away that Cale is hiding something and that is probably related to self-sacrifice.
