As his lips pressed against hers in a short kiss, a radiant smile graced her features, the dimples on her cheeks apparent as she beamed up at the boy who held her fragile heart in his hands. The two were nothing but friends; very close friends, to say the least, but the romantic spark they held wasn't that of a couple. Their love was platonic, but their bond was far too strong for their friendship to be summed up as only 'best friends'. Platonic soulmates, perhaps. Paxton completed Sadie. "Mm, I napped a lil', and took the little ones for a walk. Snoop was quite knackered 'bout twenty minutes in, so I took 'em home a little earlier. Watched some Shameless and napped some more." Body practically melting into his as his arms embraced her, she stood on her toes as she peered up at him, cerulean hues blanketed by voluminous lashes, and interlocked her slender fingers into his much larger ones. "It is! And 've made sure to stock up on that candy floss bubble bath 'ya love so much. I've been waitin' all day for this, y'know." Her lips grazed his jawline as she spoke, a flirtatious smirk twisted upon her pink pout.

"I missed you too princess," he cooed softly, his lips pressing into her pink. Every time he was around her, he felt his heart swell with an adoration that he didn’t know any human being could feel towards someone else. She was quite easily the light of his life and was the most important person in his world. "What’d you do all day?" he asked, but got his answer as he took a step back and gave her a once over. Probably napping. Without really waiting for her answer, he dipped down to peck her lips with his quickly before he lifted Betty from his shoulder and placed her gingerly onto the sofa cushion. Ignoring the pup’s annoyingly pathetic whine, Paxton returned to Sadie with his arms looped loosely around her waist. "I think it’s bubble bath day, isn’t it baby doll?"

Curled up on the couch with her legs tucked underneath her body and a snoring Snoop nestled in the crook of her arm, Sadie was sound asleep, a Sailor Moon printed blanket wrapped around her tiny frame. Though, her slumber didn't last very long, and as Paxton's voice echoed off the walls of their flat, she stirred, a dimpled smile lighting her face as she heard the boy calling for her. Pink hair cascading down her shoulders as she sat up, she stilled a yawn as she opened her mouth to answer the boy. "In here!" she called back, sleep dripping from her tone as if she'd woken up from a year's slumber. A lavender jumper was the only thing hugging her petite body, she reluctantly lifted herself from the warmth of the sofa, a grin spreading across her face as her oceanic eyes fell on Paxton. "Hi, baby," she crooned, practically bouncing over to him, arms wrapping around his neck almost immediately. A chaste kiss was pressed to his lips as she enveloped him in a long, tight embrace. "I missed you." 

Striding lazily through the door of the apartment, he gently placed his keys onto the small table. Pulling the beanie from his head, he could almost hear his growing hair falling in a shaggy mess around his face. Swiping it back with one movement, he shoved the beanie into his back pocket. “Baby girl,” he called, his thick Northern English accent heavy on his syllables. Much to his dismay, he was greeted with a chirping puppy he’d affectionately named Betty instead of the candy floss-haired pixie he’d been hoping for. “You’ll do,” he shrugged as he bent onto one knee to quickly swipe the pup into his arms before she wiggled her way into the favorite spot between his shoulder and jaw, covering the bruised lovebite he had told Harrison was from a groupie. Of course, it was a complete lie as it had come from Sadie herself, but he chose to avoid that confrontation today as they worked on more material for White Eskimo’s fourth album. “Sweetheart,” Paxton called again, sauntering into the living room where he stopped in his tracks. With a widening grin forming on his face, green eyes looked her over. “You’re even more beautiful than when I left this morning.”
