Give me more shaking whumpees.

Give me whumpees who are shivering so much from their high fever that they can't even hold a bottle of water up to their lips, leaving caretaker to hold it for them like they're bottle feeding a baby animal.

Give me whumpees who've lost so much blood that they're pale and trembling violently, their skin cool to the touch. Their body is desperately trying to keep them warm, but with each new shudder they're just bleeding more and more.

Give me whumpees in shock- whumpees who find out something so emotionally distressing that they can do nothing but shake, eyes fixed on a single point, jolting away from any touch.

Give me more shaking whumpees.

one of my favorite things to imagine is atsushi noticing akutagawa being kind of sluggish and a little pale...he pulls off a glove to press his palm up to akutagawa's forehead to see if he has a fever and of course he does 😭 "You're burning up, you should be at home!!!" he tells him all pouty and expects akutagawa to argue or smack his hand away but he's so out of it that he's too defeated by being caught to say anything back 😔 and i love the idea of akutagawa laying his head on atsushi's shoulder cause he's so tired 💔 he's been working for days without sleep and he doesn't feel good 💔💔

Canon : this character has a supercharged/superhuman immune system, and therefore can never get sick ever

small appreciation post for collapsing while still conscious

ok as much as i love a good faint im also a huge sucker for when a character collapses but is still conscious, maybe just dizzy or weak

stumbling or tripping on something and falling to their knees, too weak to stand up again

weak from fever or low blood sugar and failing to get out of a chair, lying on their back or side while the dizziness subsides (i actually had a fic planned for this at one point)

slumping into a chair because they cant stand anymore

reaching out to a table or wall for support and sliding to the floor (!!!)

sitting on the floor already but they slump to the side out of exhaustion

that thing where they throw their arm across their eyes out of exhaustion or dizziness (honestly one of my favorites)

there are probably a lot more im missing rn so feel free to add on!!

Something about throwing up in bed just makes me go feral,, someone not making it to a meeting or something else in the morning, so a teammate or friend checks on them and they're fast asleep on their side with a pool of vomit on their sheets </3

Hi guys, I've decided to purge my inbox. There weren't many things in there, but they were making me anxious and want to write even when I'm not feeling well. I'll let you guys know when requests are open again.

no no. you don't get it. the reason I injure my blorbos until they can't walk is because that's the only way they'll ever let someone else carry them. the reason I curse them to be sick and feverish is so that they'll finally open up about their emotions while delirious. the reason I force them to overexert themselves to the point of exhaustion is so that when they pass out they can finally rest.

I'm doing this for their own good.

Sick/over-exhausted Whumpee accidentally falling asleep on the couch and instead of getting yelled at or shaken awake like they expect, they wake up hours later to several layers of blankets. Every member of their team saw them and decided they needed one more blanket, until now, they could barely roll over.

Whumpee's been laid out with a hell of a fever, obvious in their flushed cheeks and sweat-soaked hair. Their eyes flutter as they glance around, glassy and almost unseeing. "Caretaker?"

"I'm here, buddy," Caretaker responds, reaching up to run a hand through their hair. "What do you need?"

"Can- can you stay with me?" Whumpee whispers, "You don't have to, I just..." Their voice breaks, eyes filling with tears. "I don't wanna be alone..."

Disreguarding the sound of his own heart shattering, Caretaker murmurs, "I'm not going anywhere, Whumpee. I promise."

Character A is injured and out of it after a mission. While being treated by character B they ask where character C, their best friend/lover/etc is.

Character B has to decide if it's a good idea to tell character A that character C died on the mission.

Caretaking characters keeping up a running commentary to the injured character, talking through what they're doing as they tend to them- broadcasting their movements, giving them forewarning before touching them as to what they need to do next; explaining what they're doing and why, regardless of how much the injured character is able to understand given the state they're in, but making sure they get some sort of acknowledgement, a nod or an assenting groan at least, as well as continuous reassurances to the injured character of what a good job they're doing and how close to finished they are and soon they'll be able to rest.
