Performing Waiters & Entertainment Services
Showtime Events was born from our international travels to New York & Germany and pride ourselves as a one-stop entertainment services provider. The concept of performing waitrons allows us to host private and public dinner type shows, however this concept has proven very successful in Durban, and is now on offer across South Africa for any size wedding, function or corporate event, but this is not all we offer...
We have a large database of super talented local artists; comedians, singers, musicians and dancers. Although they can usually be found waitering on tables whilst sporadically performing throughout the night, we also offer their talents as entertainment to smaller functions and events as entertainment.
As if thats not enough, our services also include; sound equipment hire from small PA speakers to larger powered speakers and we pride ourselves in being South Africa's first to specialise in flash mobs which is great for corporate marketing, events and wedding proposals.
We also have our own venue in Durban North which we host events at or you can hire out if you are looking for a venue to hire. Our in house team of caterers not only provides food for all our own events but they also do for private events. We travel South Africa & the world partnering with a variety of charities, venues, businesses and restaurants to co-host events, to bring the best in South Africa's local talent.

We supply a quality entertainment booking service for any type of event throughout South Africa. Our specialist entertainment consultants offer a massive range of keynote - motivational speakers, cabarets, bands, comedians, singers, and dancers. We offer the widest range of entertainment services for parties, promotions, weddings and private celebrations in South Africa.

We offer a few a variety of options to anyone hosting a wedding and looking for entertainment & ideas. Our concept goes as far as offering a one-stop-shop wedding experience to individual services; catering, secret waiters, decor, waitrons, flash mobs, wedding website, to gift registries & sound hire.
Wedding Entertainment:
We host a large database of local artists which you can book for your wedding. We have a variety of local singers, dj's, bands, musicians, mc's, comedians and dancers which we can offer as individual performers for your big day. Sound hire is included in all our packages.
Secret Waiters:
This is a reasonable entertainment option for weddings. How this works, is we attend your event as waiters and blend in but when planned break-out into the performance that will make your wedding memorable. Packages range from entire event performances to once-off performances.
Catering & Decor:
With over 15 years in the catering business we have become Kwa-Zulu Natal’s preferred caterers for private events and weddings. Based out of Durban North, not only do we do catering, but our unique services also include venue & decor hire, catering and in-house stationery services which assist in creating invitations, menu’s, place cards, table seating, and programmes.
Venue Hire:
We offer our Durban North venue based at 50 Umhlanga Rocks Drive for hire. They are fully licensed and offer a hall as a blank canvas to those looking to host their weddings in Durban.
Sound Hire:
We have a variety of different sized sound & lighting equipment on offer which you can hire for your wedding. Delivery and take down of equipment is included in all our packages.
Wedding Website With Gift Registry:
We offer the building of wedding websites with a unique online gift registry, by building an online store that they can customise to their own gift registry needs. Situated at Parkhill Bowling Club, 50 Umhlanga Rocks Drive, which is in Central Durban North, is a fully equipped functions and events venue to suit whatever your requirements are.
Our fully staffed amenities include a restaurant and a fully licensed bar – all under one roof. Sound hire, decor hire, entertainment and catering are available from our professional service providers. We are proud to offer excellent facilities which are hard to find especially at competitive prices which includes tables, chairs tablecloths. Our bar prices are the most reasonable prices you will find in Durban North.
We have two venue hire options available:
Our hall is designed as the perfect canvas for events with easy to hang drapping options. The venue is ideal for events hosting 50 - 200 people.
Our smaller venue is designed for meetings, presentations and functions. It is the perfect venue for up to 70 people and is the most reasonable option we offer.
