I wish tumblr just used ads instead of allowing people to blaze posts. Like, I would prefer looking at toothpaste or whatever than the most annoying person you can imagine trying to get me to read fanfiction.
Though to be fair, the catharsis I get from blocking them/knowing I'll never see them again is something akin to catching/crushing a mosquito out of the air with your bare hand.

Though there were many gaming forgeries from the early 2000s (like the existence of “George Plimpton’s Video Falconry” for ColecoVision) this one is very real and was even sold in the US.

I often think about that post where someone mentioned that the puppet from Cousin Skeeter got slimed at the kids choice awards and they couldn't get the slime out of it, so Nickelodeon had to cancel the show. And, like, that's probably not true, but the idea is so funny (and ultimately it doesn't really matter) I choose to believe it's true and will always spread this like it's a fact.
Getting a puppet slimed in such a ruinous fashion that a show can no longer be made, will forever be known as getting Cousin Skeeter'd.

When I was growing up, one of the well known substitute teachers in the area was this 90 year old granny who would rap in any class about staying away from drugs. Just these awful white people "dont do crack, cause it's very whack" type bars. I don't think anyone liked her all that much because she was kinda mean and never knew what she was supposed to be teaching, but I think she was well respected because if anyone asked her to rap, she would kill about 15 min of class time to do so. She's most certainly dead by now though.
#i dont think her method was very effective because i smoked a ton of pot in highschool.#if she was a better rapper i would have smoked less pot for sure
