i dont know why but im like super obsessed with the idea of roy getting really insecure about getting old and thinking that cause hes like 14-15 years older than ed that ed will stop thinking hes attractive as their relationship goes on

where did they get that shirt they wear in that one scene?
what is their typical morning routine?
what song got stuck in their head when they were in the grocery store just now and how do they feel about that?
what would happen to a houseplant in their care?
they're talking a 5 hour flight in economy class and they paid to choose their seat - which one do they go for?
how do they achieve a fully-assembled piece of IKEA furniture?
how would they deal with a malfunctioning computer?
what gives them ASMR - and is it a pleasant or unpleasant feeling?
what helps them fall asleep at night?
how do they behave when they have a bad cold? allergies? a migraine?
they have accidentally caused a fire - how did they do it and how do they react to it?
they are at the club - is this a good situation for them?
what is their opinion of street performers?
which social media platform(s) they use and which they hate
how do they feel about the idea that the tomato is a fruit?
where do they stand on Pluto, vis a vis its planetary status?
what would they do for a Klondike bar?
what kink did they learn about by accident on the internet, and they don't have it but they get it
who is their celebrity crush?
who is their small-time personal nemesis, separate from any big bad in the show (think neighbour, coworker, mail carrier etc.) and why do they hate them so much?
what is the last greeting card they bought? what occasion, who did they give it to, and what was the message inside?
what have they been putting off forever, even though it will only take 10 minutes?

i was thinking this morning about how i categorize fanfic authors that i enjoy like AKC breeds and decided to share my rubric with you:
the specialist: this author has a favorite kink or trope and has written 80% of the content in that tag. you know exactly what you’re getting. they have A Brand™️. no matter what other traits they display, dedicated rare pair authors belong here.
the chocolate box: essentially the exact opposite. this author will try anything once. they have 80+ works in the fandom with no discernible pattern. the shortest one is 268 words and the longest is well over 100k. this breed of author may or may not be related to:
the renaissance fan: they’ve written three things in your fandom: your favorite fic, your notp, and a bizarre crossover with a show you’ve never heard of. you hit “expand fandoms list” on their author page and have to scroll down twice to reach the bottom. whenever you curse the fact that you can’t legally commission fic writers, this is the author you’re thinking about.
the horn dog: they’re here for one thing and one thing only. if someone’s dick is not in another character’s mouth within 500 words, they apologize for it in the author’s notes. they have one (1) g-rated fic.
the rookie: this writer is usually young, new to fandom, or just got a beta-reader for the first time. their fics are a little all over the place, quality-wise, but you’re excited whenever their name pops up because their unique voice gets stronger every time. you feel a personal investment in their development, like you’re an old man reading the local high school sports page and saying “this kid’s the one to watch.”
the live streamer: the most prolific author in the fandom. their works are all over the front page when you sort by kudos. you have no idea how they generate this much work, and have seriously wondered if they have access to an extra-dimensional time portal. their stories are usually un-beta’d and the characterization varies wildly, but their best works are inspired and you’ve read them 30 times.
the cryptid: this one comes out of nowhere every two years, drops the best fanfic you’ve ever read, and disappears. fifteen months after you left a three paragraph comment about how they changed your life, you get a message in your inbox that just says “thanks.”
the novelist: we talk about “filing off the serial numbers” when someone reworks their most popular story to pitch it as an original novel; this author somehow does the reverse. their fics are excellent, usually long-reaching multi-chapter AUs that have almost nothing to do with the on-screen characters except their names. i’d like to extend my personal thanks to this breed of author because it’s the closest i get to reading an actual book.
the reunion tour: this author wrote some of the most popular works in the fandom, but either moved on to k-pop or burned out when canon took a turn for the worse. they put out one new thing a year, often an old draft that’s been haunting them from under the floorboards. their last six author’s notes all say they never thought they’d write this pairing again and “this will probably be the last time.”

This is a bit of a vent, but it’s kinda angsty so there.
I’m sick and tired of people feeling sorry for LXC, and having NHS grovel or something bc LXC hurt and upset, I understand that up to a point LXC is a victim of JGY manipulations too, but just for that everyone let’s him off the hook for the shitty choices and actions (not to mention the double standards).
So let’s have a world where LXC actually faced repercussions for his actions (bc let’s be real, seclusion is not really a punishment, getting to shut out the world -throwing all his responsibilities on his little brother and uncle- and live in a comfy place where he is still viewed as a can-do-no-wrong entity by everyone and being able to handle his grief and thoughts in peace is way more and way better than most characters got).
Let’s say that JGY didn’t die at Guanyin Temple, and LXC gets him to CRSS like he wanted, do you think NHS would be alright with that? With JGY not only alive and well, but protected by LXC?
He worked too hard not to get justice for dage, and what’s more, LXC is helping his killer.
Before he didn’t trust LXC with the info about JGY, but he still had the benefit of the doubt. Now, after LXC has all the information he needs to know what a horrible human being JGY is, and still chooses to protect him, now he knows where LXC stands, and if taking JGY down means LXC goes down with him, that’s more than fine with him.
Getting the truth of what happened in Guanyin Temple, and JGY many crimes is child’s play to NHS.
People are outraged, they sympathise with poor Jin Ling, deceived and almost killed by JGY. (There is no need to make it harder on JL than it already is, and NHS isn’t going to go out of his way to hurt anyone but JGY)
After stirring the pot, is only a matter of a few sightings of Meng Yao, -now officially removed as sect leader and struck from the family records (by pressure of the Jin elders, or however you like)- in CRSS for the other sects to demand JGY be brought to justice.
LXC tries to reason with the other sect leaders, calling for mercy or lesser punishments -even if they had been willing to listen, NHS did a great job with stirring up the masses with actual proof- it doesn’t work.
JGY dies, publicly and shamefully.
Except it doesn’t stop there.
People start talking about how Zewu Jun defended a monster like JGY, he not only looses face before the other sects, but in his own sect too.
The juniors don’t look at him the same way anymore, LSZ won’t look at him in the eye anymore, the elders question his judgement.
Even LWJ is conflicted.
NHS hates him, he knows.
He’s no longer trusted. And he has no one to blame but himself.
Soon enough he is encouraged to step down as Sect Leader.
Besides his grudge against JC, LWJ does a very good job as sect leader, people listen to him, he is Hanguang Jun and he lives up to that reputation.
He gets to watch his brother be happy with WWX and the juniors and know that if he had trusted LWJ -his brother, someone he’s known his whole life- over JGY, most of the terrible things that happened wouldn’t have happened. (Maybe LWJ could have raised LSZ with WWX, he wouldn’t have been whipped, maybe he wouldn’t have mourned, maybe NMJ would still be alive, maybe the Wens would still be alive, maybe maybe maybe)
If he had listened to NMJ, if he had listened to LWJ, if if if.
In the end he made his choices, and despite all the warning signs he chose to trust JGY, and he had to live with that.
(That last part got away from me a bit, I think that might be LXC thought process)

Love in the air ep 8
Prapai is capital H horny.
I knew even before their episodes started that prapaisky where gonna get some heads turning (understandably I guess?) but moving on.
They didn't have to be so good at their jobs🤧 prapai is living his enemies to lovers, slow burn, self insert fan fic. Remember when I said this show was just full of all my fictional turn ons? Yeahhhh
He's so smitten it makes him look stupid. Sex with sky broke his brain now he's all he can think about. (three months mr playboy?) That's so very rich pain in the ass™ of him.
I'm not ready for the pain and angst that is probably going to be skys backstory 😔 I can't bare to watch best boy sad.
He's cute. Not quite golden retrieve but close enough.
He's already so tired of him 😂
Prapai liked that a little TOO much. He's so smug. Sky my boy you've got your hands full. But also it's gonna be so nice to see such a self assured, smarmy playboy fall completely and utterly in love with sky.
Now to close this off. Rain was still too adorable for his own good. I shouldn't have enjoyed seeing him pleading on his knees as much as I did but I no longer go to therapy so im not gonna open that can of worms🤠
Secondly if I see one more reused scene from the first 2 episodes I may loose my mind.
And lastly if anyone would like I could give my thoughts on the conditions leading to prapaiskys roll in the sheets. (in a tagged and tw post of course)
