Grookey is my favorite starter, but unfortunately I don’t like it’s evolutions very much so I decided to go with Scorbunny. But I do really like shiny Grookey and I got a foreign grookey from a surprise trade so I bred for a shiny! This one was even faster then the shiny wooloo with only 56 eggs! And both this and the shiny wooloo were before I got the shiny charm.
This was also another break from hunting for shiny zigzagoon, and again it wasn’t a very long break.
I named him Gwookey because I just couldn’t think of a good nickname and Grookey is such a good name already. Though if anyone has a suggestion for a cute name let me know!

My first Shield shiny! This was mostly because I was taking a break from hunting shiny zigzagoon, but it hatched after 70 eggs so I had to go back to zigzagoon again :p It was also my fastest shiny from breeding at that moment, but I’ve gotten faster ones since then so stay tuned for those!
Also he’s in a moon ball. I still don’t have a way to transfer screenshots to my pc so here’s the video I posted to twitter.

EDIT: I have all trade evolutions! just need the exclusives now
EDIT2: got some more help and now only need two more sword exclusives!
EDIT3: Found out the fossils aren’t completely exclusive and managed to get dracozolt, so now I just need Passimian!

Caught shiny Petilil! Took a few hours in the friend safari. I wanted to evolve it but I didn’t have any sunstones in that game, so I transferred it to Ultra Moon where I did have a sunstone and evolved it!

So here’s some of the shinies I caught in Let’s Go Eevee. These were all also in 2018, just at the end of the year(so I didn’t actually catch any shinies this year..).
I only have proper screenshots of Diglett and Doduo because the others are all videos. I don’t have an sd card so I can’t get the videos on my pc so here’s the links to the twitter posts with them:

The only one I don’t have a video of is Diglett, because it was the first one and I forgot recording videos was a thing on the switch.

Here’s two shinies I caught in 2018! They were the last two I needed to finish this challenge. It took me almost two years to complete this challenge just because I took so many breaks.
I don’t remember much from these hunts actually, just that the Luxio was a bit frustrating. I got a shiny Electrode and two shiny Pikachu before the Luxio finally showed up. The only reason I know what date I caught them is because the file name for the pictures has the dates in them.

Hey so it’s been a while. I kinda took a long break from shiny hunting, but I’ve caught a few shinies(mostly in Let’s go Eevee) and I want to start shiny hunting again to get excited for Sword and Shield so I’ll start posting again!

Here’s a few wormhole shinies. I have even more but after a while I didn’t feel like taking pics of them anymore. I honestly don’t know how I feel about the wormholes. It’s a little ridiculous how easy it is to get a lot of shinies.
I have quite a few duplicates that I may give away at some point. And some others that I might put up for trade.

It's a shiny Noibat! It's such a nice shiny I'm glad I have one, but I will be evolving him. It took a while before this one shined but it finally did and I'm happy. It's part of a new shiny challenge I thought of but I'll be making a post about that another time. I'm also still not done with my OC challenge so I should probably finish that first. GOT THE SHINY GIRATINA!! It took 779 soft resets(with charm)! I spend all day today on this and it payed off. I’m sooooo happy with this one, it’s so beautiful! I gave him the griseous orb cause I like the legless version a little more. But I love Giratina either way, he’s my favorite legendary and his shiny is AWESOME.
I saved my master ball for it, because I decided to get a shiny Giratina as soon as I heard it was possible to soft reset for shiny legendaries in usum. And I’m so scared of failing it because it won’t stay in a pokeball, I’ve heard many horror stories.
His name’s Milky cause it sounds cute and he’s mostly white :0

Yessss finally encountered Giratina! I got myself a Dialga and Palkia via the gts, but I encountered basically all legendaries in the yellow wormholes except Palkia until I now finally found Giratina.
