hey @markiplier remember the time pewdiepie paid people to hold up a sign calling for “death to all jews”, and made several other videos including anti-Semitic content?
anyways thanks for posting a 45 minute stream promoting his channel on the first night of Hanukkah ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I actually was a fan of yours back in middle school, i’m super sad to see that this is where your content is going.
(goyim please rb but keep your opinions off my post)

“Tumblr’s decision was a reminder of the way that social media companies have, at times, more effectively policed nudity than more destructive content like misinformation and racial hatred.”
— Tumblr bans pornography and most nudity, sending users searching for an alternative

Sharing so we can keep everything in perspective! These men will die without having touched even half their wealth. It’s simply not possible to spend so much, even when you’re influencing international policy so as to keep amassing more wealth you can’t spend. They could end the suffering and violence of poverty without any inconvenience or suffering to themselves. They just won’t, and there is no system in place to keep this from happening again and again while real wages stagnate and more people lose their homes and lives.
Just to keep it all in perspective! http://time.com/money/5112462/billionaires-made-so-much-money-last-year-they-could-end-extreme-poverty-seven-times/ #poverty

“He’s one of tens of thousands of California college students afflicted by the state’s affordable housing crunch.
Ismael constantly scrambles to find shelter and enough food for himself and his siblings while working a campus job, leading a student club and trying to earn a bachelor’s degree in sociology.
In the last 18 months, he has slept on couches and floors, in trailers and attics. Since November, he and his 20-year-old brother Edward have rented the 20-foot-by-8-foot mobile home, parked in a Hayward driveway. His sisters joined them in January after their parents fell on hard times in the Central Valley and were forced to live in their car.
But Hayward has outlawed living in residential trailers. The family is due to be evicted Tuesday. And so the scramble will begin again.
“You do what you gotta do,” Ismael says gamely.” http://www.latimes.com/local/education/la-me-uc-berkeley-homeless-student-20180311-htmlstory.html

URGENT: House Passes Bill to Fuck Over Free Speech and Sex Workers #StopFOSTA
I don’t see a lot of post here about this so I’m writing one hastily. Basically a bill called FOSTA just passed in the House today. The bill is supposedly to punish websites that knowingly or unknowingly host content promoting sex trafficking. However they changed the language to allow the federal government to prosecute any website that hosts content promoting prostitution/sex work.
That means:
*No advertising platforms like Backpage that allowed us to work inside, stay safe, and spend more time with our children *No bad date lists or screening websites like VerifyHim *No peer platforms like Tits and Sass  *No sharing information on how to screen and stay safe. That includes giving referrals. We won’t be able to ask for or give other workers referrals!   *Mainstream platforms like Twitter preemptively banning sex workers
And no, this does not keep trafficking victims safe either. Backpage and other online platforms have been crucial tools in identifying trafficking victims. This bill is to fuck over sex workers and to chill free speech.
Sex workers and allies, we’re fucked as shit if this bill passes and Trump signs it (he tweeted in support of the bill and so did Ivanka). We MUST stop this bill in the Senate. To do that, we need to call our senators NOW.
- Get your senators’ numbers here: https://callyourrep.co/ And use this script from Support Ho(s)e:
“Hi, my name is ___and I live in ___(city in district). I’m calling to urge Congressperson ______to vote NO on #FOSTA, House Bill 1865 because it infringes on online free speech and community harm reduction practices.”
- If you’re lazy (like me) you can even text RESIST to 50409 and the RESIST bot will deliver your message to your senators

To be frank some of this should be covered throughout, I mean I think there are important parts of disability issues and LGBTQ issues that should be separate, but I don't see why you wouldn't cover these issues while covering different ages, or different aspects of development. There's no reason not to, and I think the real issue is that this was how they always taught, and she doesn't know how to change.
When should disabilities, sexual minorities, trans gender people, be covered in a class on the human life span? At what age? At only that age?

West Virginia teachers just shut down the ENTIRE STATES SCHOOLS.
They went on strike.
They worked with churches, community centers, and food banks to make sure that students who rely on school to be a safe place or for a meal will still be able to get them.
They are one of the lowest funded states for education. Many teachers working retail and food service on the weekends.
They can’t properly make lesson plans when they can’t feed their own children.
They can’t teach all day to kids after working all night to pay bills.
They can’t watch their students education suffer because they are not being paid enough to live.
They are demanding better funding to schools.
They are demanding pay raises.
They are demanding better health benefits.
They are demanding the safety of their students.
Students in multiple counties led a support system for their teachers. Wearing purple to support them and hyping up social media.

Because people are sleeping in their cars out of laziness and not because there is simply nowhere else to go
“Enforcement of new regulations targeting homeless people who live in their vehicles will start today, reports KPCC. The new rules dictate where people living in RVs and cars can park. For example, parking “for habitation purposes” on residential streets from 9 p.m. and 6 a.m. is now banned.
And, living in a vehicle is prohibited at all times within one block, or 500 feet, of schools, pre-schools, daycare facilities, and parks.
Results from the 2016 homeless count found more than 7,000 people live in their cars in Los Angeles, says KPCC.
City officials tell KPCC that the new rules are geared toward helping car- and RV-dwellers find appropriate places to post up. Mayor Eric Garretti’s homelessness policy director, Alisa Orduna, says the new rules will help service providers connect with people who are living in cars, so that they can offer them vouchers for housing and motel stays.
But homeless advocates argue the new rules basically constitute a “ban” on living in vehicles, and note that the rules would not apply if the people who reside in cars and RVs were to simply exit their vehicles and sleep in tents on the street.”
