My blog has been practically inactive for a while, and somehow it doubled its follower count.
Life is funny sometimes.
Thank you all and have a wonderful day; I shall return to my projects (and maybe start a side one that I could actively use to keep this blog active)

I remember this series, and sadly it isn’t the only series where children are forced to fight wars. Most series just tend to hide the trauma under some trapdoors somewhere.
Examples:
1. Final Fantasy II: we watch the characters undergo trauma and force their own needs aside, and then proceed to ignore their trauma (They begin as Teenagers)
2. Legend of Spyro Trilogy: we watch the two main protagonists undergo mental strife and abandonment, along with have to bear responsibilities for genocides and crimes that they had no real choice in the matter of. While being given roles and responsibilities that they never asked for.
Which is why both Spyro and Cynder begin to express both signs of depression along with an occasional suicidal tendency or two at specific times. Of course most of those facts aren’t held in the spotlight for long, and are quickly covered by either their submission to playing the roles they were assigned, or their need to retain composure and be strong in order to prevent the loss of more lives. (They are no older than Children)
Children witnessing wars and genocide are events that are extremely dark and damaging; while most stories try to ignore the reprocussions or events entirely.
Animorphs is a beautiful must-read because it heavily dwells in those moments. It is truly unique because (as I pointed out earlier) most stories that have moments like that tend to try and ignore those themes. Please read Animorphs, and feel free to not indulge in the other things I mentioned, cause those come down to personal preference and aren’t must-plays.
did anyone actually ever read those animorph books

Just your daily reminders:
Racists are a problem
White people are not
Homophobes are a problem
Straight people are not
Transphobes are a problem
Cis people are not
Sexists are a problem
Men are not
And most importantly,
Hating an innocent person solely because of their race, sexuality, or gender makes you a fucking asshole

Actually; funny/sad thing.
If an adult woman rapes an underage boy; she’ll get a warning instead of a conviction because “he got something out of it”
If him potentially being added to the suicide rate of 9 out of every 10 suicides in america being a male; 7 of those 9 men being white; then he probably did get something, just nothing good.
Again; everyone suffers physically, sexually, and mentally, and nobody is to blame outside of our society and culture itself for raising us to be this way. To not listen but retort, not to hear and understand but to blame and title, and not to be open in mind and heart but to close it off to anyone and everyone who doesn’t agree. That doesn’t sound like our world/country/america/africa/etc to me; it only sounds like people blinding themselves to true change towards equality; while shifting earlier beliefs of equality to now slightly corrupted efforts towards entitlement. This is not exclusive to one side, but heavily apparent in the leaders and heavy supporters of both.
Men and feminists aren’t enemies to the public, or equality, or even each other; it is our culture that teaches us that everything has to be in black or white instead of grey. There always has to be some progressive or reactionary side. F@ck that BS, so long as we have labels to throw; which we are creating more of; we will always be creating more targets, and as we create or begin to “modernize” more groups; then we’ll just enable more people to twist OUR problems into personal agendas. OUR largest issue is that we are NOT WILLING to listen to each other and take that information in; while turning it to question what the problem is; which is really HARD TO DO when we are CONSTANTLY ATTACKING EACH OTHER.
Our cultures raise us to be as we are, and they raise us to be blind to certain truths, even in the process of establishing our values. Meaning that almost any inequality or injustice is possible through a flaw in our culture itself, not in the people of that culture.
Think about it this way... A child is born innocent, free from racism, sexism, or any sort of moral crime of that matter. Same as that child’s parents, and those before them. They have to be raised and nurtured to think that way, have to be given those values and purposes by their parents and culture, along with their environment(s). Men are to be taught how to suppress their true emotions and act out in violence instead; they are taught to “Man Up” and take the harder or unjust paths in order to provide for themselves and others, even if it means their absences. They are taught that their manhoods/everything they ever knew are invalid if they cannot do that and be quiet about it; else they become hated and scrutinized by the men, and even women, around them. Look at all of the people who called Chester Bennington weak when he offed himself.
Women have a whole different set of struggles and pains that are groomed into them, but you’ve all had enough of me by now.
Just know; a racist was born innocent, and is not inherently responsible for any racist thoughts or impulses that were groomed into them, that is the fault of their environments, cultures, and families, but mostly the cultures for cultivating such families and environments. Though free from the responsibilities of thought and impulse as they may be, they are directly responsible for any actions they take; then for the culture that they feed back into and reinforce.
I am sorry if I upset any of you, but please do keep in mind that we live in a social environment where both men and women are acting out in sexist manners towards each other, and such an environment was cultivated and created by our culture.
Have a wonderful day, and for anyone who would like to look into some of the original intentions and beliefs of feminism; feel free to read authors such as bell hooks (who intentionally CHOSE to write her name exclusively in the lower case; so that is now the true way of writing her name), among other original feminist authors. Who fought the White Supremacist Patriarchy, not the men who lived in it. They were beliefs that were true for anyone, because those beliefs existed to support and cure everyone of their culture-induced suffering, but who am I outside of a Libertarian-White-Male?
“Men do not experience sexism”, Oh you are so wrong.
1 - They just get longer prison sentences for the same crimes
2 - They will more than likely lose custody of our children if a separation happens.
3 - They will never be taken seriously if our girlfriends/wives are domestically violent
4 - There are far less mens shelters to abused men.
5 - Male rape is not taken seriously at all.
6 - Male sexual assault victims (to female abusers) never get justice, they only get shame.
7 - They are always portrayed as the “villain” or “bad guy” in any confrontational situation that involves a female.
8 - In Australia we have a campaign for domestic abuse where the male is ALWAYS the abuser. Never the other way around.
9 - Misandry is acceptable in modern society. Where you are demonised as a misogynist if you dont agree with feminism.
10 - Male mental health is not taken as seriously as female mental health.
No offense but you are so ignorant it hurts.

I don’t know, a career known for the sexual and physical abuse of men (and now women as more of them are joining the military) is not something that sits well with me.
A career where it is made clear that everyone who even slightly outranks you owns you and your body; especially in a country that has a minor suppressed issue of running nuclear experiments on its own soldiers (RIP WW2 and following Navy veterans who were immorally experimented on with nuclear technology without their knowledge or consent). That just doesn’t sound like a career that belongs in a world that claims to be moving towards equality; at least not now.
Sadly, military power is supported by both parties in action, even if not in words. That’s why fact-checks exist, and why no president has tried to end the war on terror.
What a weird world we live in...
The army’s latest recruitment campaign posters are. Terrible and Bad.

Wow, Look what I found!!!
Which reminds me... will we ever all learn to get along and realise that every social group and class suffers?
I mean; if bisexual people have a history of being misunderstood by both straight and gay people (hell I’ve even heard someone call a bi friend of mine trans which he was not; the person had mistakenly thought both meant the same thing) and at least 7 of every 10 suicides in America was a white male in the year of 2016 something just ain’t right.
Of course I could just be some crazy Idiot who believes that there is always more ground that everyone can cover on the path to reachig true equality, freedom, understanding, and acceptance.

I don’t care much for the second amendament, but this documentary does cover the real reason why it exists. To enable citizens to protect themselves from a tyrannical government
Excellent documentary on the history of gun confiscation around the world, allowing the uprisings of evil governments and dictatorships and the mass killings and genocides that followed.
Worth the 57 min. watch time.
Reblog the hell out of it.

So much for an open Tumblr; what happened to being inclusive and open?
The Vox article that I was interviewed for is up and running, and it contains some serious fuckign information about this whole fiasco.
Information that tumblr just straight up refused to provide to its userbase at all.
Unsurprisingly to those of us watching this website deteriorate over the last year, this full content purge and ban has been in progress for a solid 6 months. The date got moved up because of the child porn thing, but it was always coming for us.
Equally unsurprising: Tumblr’s management and ownership are absolutely destroying the actual staff working on it. The company has been hemoragghing senior staff without so much as a token attempt to keep them in place. So the drops in site quality are real, and wil probably only be getting worse.
Truly astonishing is the fact that apparently this crap was supposed to “double” the userbase by the end of next year. Boy, howdy, that’s not gonna work out well for them.

Creative; more-expressive atmosphere.
Again; I do not see how removing the accounts of NSFW artists is making this platform more creative and expressive.
And be honest with it; you really are just afraid of Apple removing you. This has nothing to do with your vision of a better Tumblr.
Anyone else want companies to stop lying to our faces about their reasons and inspirations for taking specific actions?
A better, more positive Tumblr
Since its founding in 2007, Tumblr has always been a place for wide open, creative self-expression at the heart of community and culture. To borrow from our founder David Karp, we’re proud to have inspired a generation of artists, writers, creators, curators, and crusaders to redefine our culture and to help empower individuality.
Over the past several months, and inspired by our storied past, we’ve given serious thought to who we want to be to our community moving forward and have been hard at work laying the foundation for a better Tumblr. We’ve realized that in order to continue to fulfill our promise and place in culture, especially as it evolves, we must change. Some of that change began with fostering more constructive dialogue among our community members. Today, we’re taking another step by no longer allowing adult content, including explicit sexual content and nudity (with some exceptions).
Let’s first be unequivocal about something that should not be confused with today’s policy change: posting anything that is harmful to minors, including child pornography, is abhorrent and has no place in our community. We’ve always had and always will have a zero tolerance policy for this type of content. To this end, we continuously invest in the enforcement of this policy, including industry-standard machine monitoring, a growing team of human moderators, and user tools that make it easy to report abuse. We also closely partner with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and the Internet Watch Foundation, two invaluable organizations at the forefront of protecting our children from abuse, and through these partnerships we report violations of this policy to law enforcement authorities. We can never prevent all bad actors from attempting to abuse our platform, but we make it our highest priority to keep the community as safe as possible.
So what is changing?
Posts that contain adult content will no longer be allowed on Tumblr, and we’ve updated our Community Guidelines to reflect this policy change. We recognize Tumblr is also a place to speak freely about topics like art, sex positivity, your relationships, your sexuality, and your personal journey. We want to make sure that we continue to foster this type of diversity of expression in the community, so our new policy strives to strike a balance.
Why are we doing this?
It is our continued, humble aspiration that Tumblr be a safe place for creative expression, self-discovery, and a deep sense of community. As Tumblr continues to grow and evolve, and our understanding of our impact on our world becomes clearer, we have a responsibility to consider that impact across different age groups, demographics, cultures, and mindsets. We spent considerable time weighing the pros and cons of expression in the community that includes adult content. In doing so, it became clear that without this content we have the opportunity to create a place where more people feel comfortable expressing themselves.
Bottom line: There are no shortage of sites on the internet that feature adult content. We will leave it to them and focus our efforts on creating the most welcoming environment possible for our community.
So what’s next?
Starting December 17, 2018, we will begin enforcing this new policy. Community members with content that is no longer permitted on Tumblr will get a heads up from us in advance and steps they can take to appeal or preserve their content outside the community if they so choose. All changes won’t happen overnight as something of this complexity takes time.
Another thing, filtering this type of content versus say, a political protest with nudity or the statue of David, is not simple at scale. We’re relying on automated tools to identify adult content and humans to help train and keep our systems in check. We know there will be mistakes, but we’ve done our best to create and enforce a policy that acknowledges the breadth of expression we see in the community.
Most importantly, we’re going to be as transparent as possible with you about the decisions we’re making and resources available to you, including more detailed information, product enhancements, and more content moderators to interface directly with the community and content.
Like you, we love Tumblr and what it’s come to mean for millions of people around the world. Our actions are out of love and hope for our community. We won’t always get this right, especially in the beginning, but we are determined to make your experience a positive one.

Wow... Art from over two years ago...
One drawn by dragging my thumb across a chemistry table, the other with a mechanical pencil.
I could not draw as well then, but I also wasn’t as wildly busy with other things.
(The second drawing can be found on another inactive blog; I shall keep the name secret for all of eternity; even if I decide to make it active. But yeah; for any of the ZERO people who have seen that blog or this picture before; this picture already exists in the dark recesses of Tumblr)
Also, please don’t rip my head off over the character designs, it wasn’t really drawn to have any real inspiration outside of making them a little older.
Why all of the Legend of Spyro stuff? Cause why not; I would’ve named it ShadowDramon if my primary essay writer was digimon, but is really is just because whenever I’m on Tumblr and am willing to make a post; the Legend of Spyro trilogy just happens to arise in my mind first; hell, I hardly even think about that series much anymore; it just happens to populate most of the blogs I follow so it explains my predicament.

As much as the existence of NSFW blogs is something I could not really care less about; I find it a little stupid how Tumblr’s staff believes that spouting how it is apparently more open and free for Tumblr to purge NSFW blogs instead of leaving it so blogs that posted NSFW content could just make themselves explicit so anyone who didn’t want to see that stuff could just filter out those blogs.
Of course; Tumblr’s staff will probably just continue to lie and pretend that this new way is somehow more open and accepting, but ya know, It’s TOTALLY like NSFW blogs that marked themselves explicit are the worst things that run around on the internet. What was that about people mentioning the presence of pedophiles and bots that spam NSFW stuff without being marked as explicit? Wait, are you saying that people who are just running an explicit-marked NSFW blog aren’t the biggest threat?!
