Here’s a short story I wrote

Viney's pov

I hated being in the detention track,I knew I was a disappointment to my parents but I had my friends. I heard the door open but didn't bother lifting my head this time,"what's she doing here?" Jerbo asked I heard barcus bark a response "I thought people like you didn't get detention so why stop to our level?" Jerbo added at this point I looked up to see who they were making fun of"emria blight ? Wow what did you do to get throw in here with us ?" I smiled slightly this was the best thing to ever happen "...." she didn't respond to me barcus barked at her "she probably wasn't regal enough for her teachers " Jerbo translated "can't you just leave me alone?" She snapped "not until you tell us why your here" I replied emria shrugged and sat in the back taking a pencil and doodling on the desk I shook my head and I noticed her once light blue sleeves were now grey the detention track color "woah you really got into trouble " I said Jerbo and barcus looked at her and she looked me "your sleeves are grey the detention track color " I added "so what? Maybe I did get in trouble " she retorted "don't worry it'll get covered up " Jerbo retorted "your family's mistakes always do" he added emria just looked like she wanted to cry she only put her head down to avoid the others a few minutes later there was a knock on the door and we all looked over"your free to go home " it was principal bump "emria I wish to see you " he added looking at the green haired witch who only nodded before walking out, I followed my friends outside," told you she wouldn't stay in detention for long " Jerbo sneered barcus barked"I do not barcus!" I said (barcus translation: yeah because viney likes her) Jerbo looked at me  "how could you though? She's stuck up " he said "anyway I'm going home come on barcus" he added and walked off followed by barcus "if you really want to know what I did then you owe me a coffee " I heard emria say I turned around and she was standing at the top of the stairs "deal " i said she smiled slightly and honestly that's the first time I have seen her smile "come on then we should go get that coffee " she replied
