The Samoan Community Development Center (SCDC) is excited to launch the Sustaining Pasifika Engagement, Advocacy, and Knowledge (SPEAK) Program through Pasifika Urban Roots! SPEAK is a Pasifika internship program that focuses on community engagement, leadership development, and action research.
We are looking for Pacific Islander young adults from the ages of 18 to 24 years old that live or attend college in San Francisco and are passionate about serving our community. This internship will be hosted at SCDC in person from August 25, 2023, to May 31, 2024. Interns will receive a stipend worth $20 an hour for hours worked. Each intern will be scheduled to work 10 hours each week.

Attached are flyers with this information. Applications and other required documents will now be due on July 14, 2023. Interns will be expected to be available for training that will take place in person on August 14-15, 2023 at SCDC.
