『•』 #insolidarity 🖤💛🤍🔹◻🔵@borisgarreau ⠀ ⠀ ↪️ AJ Kemp 🔥 SOON @joanlosangeles ⠀ Arnold prefers what goes on outside the artists’ studio, I find this very interesting, because he seeks contact with the public during conferences, performances, presentations of limited edition artists’ books or discussions… He localizes, as i see it, the space and time of a work and its own action as an artist by making more (modern, in my opinion) human the approach of an artistic look on the world.

The artist is also a writer awarded by the Andy Warhol Foundation and is collected by many institutions.

I really like to see emerging talents who go deeper into the trends of our time than they surf on them. His work is direct, dynamic and very timely.

I hope you will enjoy his next exhibition as much as I do, and his reflections on our common culture, our uncertainties about our differences and especially how we have been used to often rejecting our differences with a sometimes too strong weight of history, how all this blends and can, certainly teach us to go beyond our conditions and the sometimes reductive words we put on it. We are each much bigger, caring and interesting than we think.

I would love to go and see his exhibition at Joan’s place, I missed his residency in Paris ten years ago, but it’s a bit far from my home ☀️
