ha do yeong couldn't help but be excited when he found out you'll be holding an event for people who likes "go". he's been interested in this game for awhile ever since he watched your games. well, he's interested in you as well.
although this interest has exited way back before he met and married yeon jin, he just couldn't stop his infatuation.
"oppa, are you watching her games again" yeon jin sigh seeing how focused her husband is infront of their tv. "yeah, do you need something?" he asked, not even gazing at his wife.
"i'm starting to think you like her more than me" she teased, sitting behind him while she wraps her hand over his neck. ha do yeong chuckled in response.
walking inside the event place, ha do yeong looked around his surrounding hoping to catch a glimpse of the girl he's been longing to see. sadly, he couldn't because there are just too much people.
there are multiple go boards in an area he spotted so he went there. he observes the way the people play and strategized their moves that he didn't even notice someone stood next to him.
'is he a business man or what..' you thought, seeing a man wearing a suit which is kind of unusual to you because who wears that kind of clothing in an event like this.
a "go event" is filled with mostly elder people in their casual and very comfortable clothing. so seeing a not so young but also not so older guy in a place like this wearing a formal suit caught your attention.
well he's quite handsome, so that's also another reason.
"do you know how to play?" you spoke after a few minutes of standing next to him. seeing his startled face and posture, you giggled. "i'm sorry, i'm [ reader's name ]" you held out your hand.
he took your hand and gently shake it, "everyone knows who you are, i'm ha do yeong"
finding out that he was a beginner during your first game with him that day sparked your interest in him.
the way his eyebrow scrunch and eyes observing your hands as you place a stone, was too much for you to resist. he looks so handsome and sexy despite his noob moves.
and that wasn't just it. you've noticed his eyes lingering you
so you offered to teach him.
that was your first meeting with him. until it becomes uncountable. the interest he had for you turned into something bigger and better.
you knew he was married, but you didn't offered him classes without something in return. which he obviously liked.

jin ho sighed in relief putting his head in your shoulders and wrapped his arms around your waist.
“are you feeing tired, my baby?” you asked pushing his head away from your shoulder to cup his face. him nodding made you feel bad.
having a soldier boyfriend is hard, every time him and his other platoon members had to go out the stadium, you’re all left alone worrying for his safety.
but, every time he comes back, safe and sound, you felt happiness and worries fading away.
removing his top uniform, leaving him with his sleeveless shirt. you pulled him to your bed. him laying pretty much on top of you.
“how’s outside?” you asked, playing with his now short hair. “it’s nice, we gratefully didn’t encounter any monster” he responded clasping your other hand with his.
silence filled the room as you sense him closed his eyes. you swiftly grabbed a blanket near you and covered both of you. “sleep well, my baby” you kissed his forehead before falling asleep as well.

handing the kit to you, she then walked away leaving the two of you. “we don’t need another corpse to bury. so take your damn shirt off”
with your cold look and voice, he sighed and took it off. resulting you gasping slightly as you observe the tape wrapped around his shoulder with dried blood in it”
“what on earth is this? are you psycho or what” you sighed, grabbing a scissors from the medkit, you cut the tape and thrown it in a bin beside you.
hearing his hiss as you cleaned the wound with a cotton you had soaked with alcohol, “a man who taped his wound so disgustingly can feel pain huh?”
you smirked hearing him groan in annoyance. “just treat it” he said. “fine” you rolled your eyes before continuing to clean the wound.
finally, you covered it with gauze. “there, old man” finishing it off with a tape that will secure the gauze.
“come here again for tomorrow, so i can change the gauze. i doubt our wonderful nurse would want to deal with your rude ass” you smiled at him, standing up and getting ready to leave.
you felt him grab your wrist, “thanks…” muttering.
“what was that” you teasingly asked, benting down to lean your face in his. “fuck off, i said” turning hsi head away.
“damn old man can’t even thank me properly” you pouted, “you’re welcome” you patted his head and walked away.

although you and hyun soo did it for a couple of times only, you didn’t expect to be pregnant. and you only found out about it after he surrendered to the military.
eun yoo was the only person who knows about it. she took good care of you in the stadium and looks after you. she never told anyone about it. as your younger sister.
you had a hard time being a pregnant woman even though you had no bump, you can still feel the baby inside. and missing your older brother only adds up in coping.
a couple of months passed by in the stadium and eun yoo going out because of chief ji’s orders. she found hyun soo.
she saw him with another baby. she was furious, so she rushed towards him and slapped him informing that you’re having a child. not even caring about their reunion.
she thought he had found someone else and had another baby.
but that wasn’t the case.
after a long explanation, eun yoo finally understood and took him to the stadium. she told him to wait outside in secret and she’ll get you outside.

you two decided to make him wear gloves.
hyun soo already has experience in raising a child, so him being your child’s father is the best things.
you love seeing both of them together and even with ah yi, who visits you and your child frequently.
then there is eun soo who also adore your child, often visits you already.
the three of them helps you with hyuk jae always.
due to hyuk jae being a neohuman, he’s growing fast, in just a couple of months, he’s already grown into a one year old kid.
with the ability to walk and speak already. he’s the cutest.
every time it’s his nap time, hyun soo would always prepare for his story time. it has become part of their bonding. never did you once read a story for him.
you only wish for two things, it is to grow up like his gentle father and for your brother to meet your kid.

you went up to the stage and warmed up for a bit then pose for the intro. once the music cue, you held up your mic and started singing.
performing what you have practiced for weeks perfectly, you got interrupted. your back up dancer suddenly started bleeding from her nose.
“cut !” the director was so angry and decided to march forward to the bleeding dancer. however, got stabbed.
blood splashed on you.
the staffs around you started yelling, screaming and running for help. leaving you all alone with the monster and the dead director.
stepping backwards slowly and quietly, not wanting to catch the attention of your back up dancer whose feasting on the corpse.
surprisingly and unusually, a bunch of soldiers raided inkigayo and started shooting the monster. a hand suddenly grabbed your wrist to pull you.

arriving outside the building, you noticed how destroyed the city is and how many people are running for their lives. it was a chaos.

‘he looks gentle and…handsome’ you thought, slightly brushing your finger tips to his cheeks which didn’t go unnoticed from the man.
“woah ! what was that ?” he yelled, freaked out. “what was what ?” the other man with him asked.
seok chan was definitely weirded out but decided tl brush it off.
you kept following them until you saw them enter a room where you sensed another neohuman.
‘why is she even here!’ you cursed internally as you saw seok chan approached the girl.
she led them to where a man is locked down, turns out to be the one they were looking for that’s why they’re here. of course, you followed him.
once the reunion between the soldiers end, ‘sergeant kim’ and the girl who’s neohuman left seok chan alone with his co-soldier.
you listened to them talk while admiring his face. suddenly, the man inside the cell shouted, “run away from here!”
seok chan who seemed to understand what’s happening here, quickly stood up and went off to find his other co-soldiers.
however, what he didn’t know was two monsters are following him.
you and another one.
you jumped behind it’s back and killed the monster before it could even touch seok chan.

“come here you ugly piece of shit !” you shouted at a half-decapitated monster with a large ear. it’s arm extended toward your way but you dodged it.
grabbing it with your bare hands, it quickly turned into an ashes.
killing the monster instantly.
“that was fucking boring” you sighed, sadly. you entered the building curiously. seeing a lots of rocks on the floor, however, something else caught your eyes.
“lee eun hyuk?” you read a name.
suddenly a loud thud came from somewhere near you. you slightly flinched but went to where the sound came from.
walking to a what seemed like a lobby, “ah !” you shouted, turning your head side ways whilst closing your eyes.
‘why the fuck is there a naked man in here!’ you internally screamed.
“care to put some clothes on ?” you asked but received no answer
“hello? are you there?” you asked once again not wanting to turn around or even open your eyes.
you felt it or him walk towards you. you can feel heat radiating his body and he smells…like shit.
“did you call me?”

he’s supposed to protect you. he’s supposed to take care of you. he’s supposed to not hurt you. but why did he? how dare he !
his thoughts are ruining him.
“it’s not your fault, love” you caress his cheek with your bloody hand. “it was just an accident”
it’s been five minutes and he’s still staring at your wound blankly and tears are threatening to fall down.
you’re aware he’s afraid of you leaving him just like anybody else. but how could you leave him when he’s your life.
“but you’re bleeding…” he said in tears, staring at your eyes. “it’s nothing baby, it’ll recover soon” you assured him, kissing his forehead.
“i’m sorry, i’m sorry, i’m sorry-“ you cut his mumbling, “hyun soo, listen to me, love.” you pulled him to your chest, gesturing him to listen to your heart beat.
“hear it, baby? it’s beating because i’m still alive”
“but why is it going fast now?” he asked looking up to you with his doe eyes.
“it’s because you’re so close to me that i just wanna kiss you so bad”
