The Kingdom of the Red Sun presents.....

"The Ruler´s Reach: A Universe of Love & Hate "

"After the death of the Grand Ruler of demons , siblings find themselves in strife, a sinister plot unravels itself in the streets, the world is coming to its end soon, good witch and horrid demon share blood but not the same goals, yet their hearts beat the same for glory"

Written and Produced by The Demon King in collaboration with humanity Production/Effects/Direction by Adrian Graye Sound by the Royal Bards Orchestra Stage Coordination by Lilith Clawthorne Starring Raine Whispers as "The New Ruler" and Skara Warbler as "Luzura"

[the production went for makeup and practical effects over full bodied concealment spells or big displays of illusion magic]

comments describe the gist of the play as such :

"The Old Grand Ruler is dead, the heir to the throne suspects foul play, Luzura insists it wasnt and it was gonna happen someday, tensions rise with enemies starting to swarm the vulnerable kingdom and Ruler wants to act quick and ruthlessly, Luzura embarks on a journey for more answers. Its all about the siblings slowly drifting from eachother and the warnings of transforming into different people who have to get to know eachother again, the play actually spans for years in it and has like 3 interludes, the ending and climax is as painful as you could imagine."

if you ask how those auditions went , Boscha tried out for any of both main parts but King already had Raine chosen without them knowing, King chose Skara for Luzura because she tried to audition for the music but started crying in the middle of the demo number.

its not that Boscha doesnt know how to act, at least for Ruler she had a lot of drive and potential, but King thinks she doesnt understand the character, and for Luzura he needed someone who was not hardened at all by their circumstances. Skara has a deadly anxiety for acting out for the very first time in public, and Raine is basically gonna force themself out of their own stage fright to help her out in this case, stage chemistry blooms and a good friendship between actors is born (the greatest excuse for me to have bard characters interacting more).

the three pillars of the Red Sun Kingdom´s military;

the Juniors (kids and young teens), the Spies (called "Gooses" over the horrible sound they make when alerted) and Seniors (former scouts and sergeants who been trusted to take care of The Youth)

the Senior Rangers are Not above in rank from the spies, if they chose to betray the pledge they made under King´s Rule they will be immediately reprehended just like anyone else, the Youth just gets grounded time outs for bad behavior lol

(this is why its hard to take down King´s forces even tho they are literally babies all over the streets , because getting reprimanded for failing to keep the Youth out of harm´s way is more terrifying than anything else)

there is also more ppl getting recruited into senior rangers than actual former scouts going into it because a lot of them didnt , have the greatest background record when you think abt it, not even mentioning how a lot of former coven figures well uh didnt get the favor in trial so to speak (motions a guillotine)

theres also some groups that been actually replacing bureaucratic castle work that was done by belos former crew, they are managing but you can imagine how a council can get with teenagers in it lmaoo, a lot of hexside students are just on the older side of the Youth on sports team for entertainment events.

Senior Rangers do a lot of glorified babysitting so that the Youth doesnt bite eachother in lunchtime and all that , some celebrated members of it include Steve , he has a few medals for it, Kikimora is a head of the training programs . You would think she would hate it , but she gets to have people who actually take in what shes saying seriously, so she significantly calmed down her temper, also the Spies dont make any exceptions on who to reprimand so that certainly motivates one to be actually Patient with toddlers.

Acolyte AU post King´s Tide is rlly funny because King is rightfully vengeful and furious over being betrayed by Belos n left to be killed by the Trappers but he decides to latch onto Collector and manipulate him a little into straight up killing them mercilessly by acting cute , he doesnt need to do this he can just tell him to but they are both really affection starved so it becomes a Titan n Collector vs the world

A Masterpost/Compilation of most of my Emperor´s Acolyte AU stuff:

This AU is an alternate timeline where Belos raised King on the castle instead of Eda finding him, content warnings for : themes of child abuse , manipulation, medical and religious trauma and general violent themes, the general gist of it its that King (nicknamed Childe in this for the majority of his childhood) turns into a major antagonist along with Collector, raised to the ideal that The Titan itself must be avenged for the wrongdoings of everyone else.

The Boiling Isles gets turnt into less of a playground and more of LARPing of knights, coliseums and tournaments to the death , King is really just trying to find what is the greatest way to rule the Isles , but his temperament n own unresolved trauma is obviously gonna cloud his mindset, he no longer agrees to destroy witches but he´s been exposed to violence his whole life, Collector follows along because they listen to each other, doesnt mean its good to enable eachother´s mental illnesses but ok , they are trying.
