Have you ever thought that Sam might be gay? too many false gfs in these years. whether I was his true girlfriend or wife (like Cait, with whom Sam has a really strong bond), I can not stand it all the time. 😏😋

Just kidding! Actually, I’ve never thought he was gay, anon. Why, not? Because I’ve known quite a few gay men, from raging queens to leather boys to suburban dad types and lots in between and though some gay guys can be interested in women’s clothes and appreciate a well dressed woman, I have never yet met one that was interested in what was under those clothes, anon. Or one who was visibly uncomfortable and ill at ease when trying NOT to touch a woman the way that Sam is when he’s trying to keep his hands off of Cait . And Sam is most definitely interested in what is under those clothes she wears too,. Go check out Paley; after a long day of filming and a longer month apart from Cait he didn’t have many filters left that evening and it’s difficult to find footage that doesn’t feature him looking down the cleavage of that little black jumpsuit she was wearing. It was a stunning outfit and she looked amazing in it but I doubt he could tell you even what color it was.

Oh, I know people say “he’s just acting when he does stuff like that, Sam has to look interested in her for the show and all” But the problem with that theory is that it is only ever wth Cait that he behaves this way. If he was gay and only acting interested in women to cover it up then why not feign interest in ALL of them? Surely it would cause lots less confusion for him to be touchy and ogling with all the women of his acquaintance and not just with his costar; a woman who he is presently trying to deny that he is in a relationship with? That would end those pesky rumours about him and his costar right quick, and surely any same sex partner would not have occasion for jealousy over something that would be so obviously meaningless to Sam if were gay.

But it would be quite a different matter if Sam were straight and his partner was a woman. Seeing too many “hands on” pics would be bound to have an effect on his partner no matter how much love or trust there was between them that it was all for “show” with these other girls. So a caring Sam might consciously limit the appearance of intimacy with these “others” to spare a female partner’s feelings.

And that certainly looks like what is going on, anon, with all three “girlfriends” he’s had so far.

So, anon, I really can’t help you with the “gay beard” stuff because all I ever see whenever I see Sam and MM together is a very married man being extra careful around a female coworker that he has to go about with. A guy with a woman he cares deeply enough about that he’s extra careful to mind his p’s and q’s around this colleague so that there will not be any misunderstanding by onlookers- and no possibility of anything coming out in a picture or video that might cause his wife any distress. And that’s all I’ve ever seen with any of the others as well.

If Sam were straight and not involved with Cait but was either single or actually involved with these “others” then why not touch them as well? Why not put on a good show of it with these girls since there would be no one else’s feelings to be considered?

But the only woman he ever touches more than “politely” is Cait.

So, sorry anon, but for me all the evidence got from the presence of these “others” and Sam’s behavior with them suggests that Sam is straight, and that he does indeed have a partner, and that that partner is Cait.

So, you don't believe Sam is dating Sara? Why?

The simplest answer to your question would be: I've been watching Sam Heughan for approximately ten years, I read the interviews, I watch the videos and, above all, I pay attention to what people say about him. If I didn't believe that Sam is in a relationship with Caitríona, I still wouldn't believe that he would have anything to do with all these women he's been "linked" to by the fandom or the press. If you look closely at the kind of man Sam Heughan appears to be and those close to him say he is, you certainly wouldn't think that he would be fascinated or fall in love with someone who has the depth of a dinner plate (And I'm not speaking about one specifically, but about all of them in the Antis list ) . He was created by a powerful woman who didn’t demonstrate her power using physical attributes, but by showing talent, intelligence, and attitude towards life. The education he received certainly impacted the man he is today. Sam is a mature and intelligent man, I don't know who thought it would be a good idea to idiotize him and expand the field of idiotization by linking him with stereotypical women within Instagrammable standards. If Sam wasn't with Caitríona, he would certainly be with a woman with the same characteristics as her (and I'm not even talking physically). She would be a discreet woman with a life, someone who likes to read, someone who doesn't care about follower numbers, someone with a worldview that goes beyond her own navel. An independent woman, with whom he would be a companion, an equal and not the saviour , or financier (even if he had more money than her). I don't imagine him in love with mirror-worshipping creatures, I think he needs someone with whom he can talk about things that go beyond the rising prices of protein bars or vegan restaurants. I believe he is fascinated by women who take a political stance, who lead campaigns, who refuse to follow the wave of artificial perfection preached on social media. I don't think he's the kind of man who needs to think he's above a partner's intellectual capacity or maturity to feel safe. He was not raised by a oppressive mother. He certainly likes realistic women, who don't insist on ostentation and who are confident enough to make their own way without depending directly on him.

Interestingly, the same applies to Caitríona. I can't imagine that a woman like her would fall in love and marry someone who seems to live in an eternal state of lethargy in all aspects of life.

Good morning Follower's. I have never done this publicly, but I am requesting prayers for my daughter. She is heading for ER in Hillsborough, NC. We are 99.9% certain that she has Addison's disease. My mother had it too....and was diagnosed about the same age as my daughter. It's not fatal, and is managed with hydrocortisone. She's my heart, and we just spent 17 glorious days together in Scotland. So, if you are so inclined, I would be eternally grateful....Many thanks...
