After a long discussion, we've decided that it's for the best to make Seasons of Reckoning go through some major changes, and with that, to revamp the roleplay. While there won't be any new posts from the admins for awhile, keep an eye out. Soon, we'll be back and even better, aiming for everyone to come to us and be part of our family!

Hello, players and lurkers!

Due to the fact Chapter 2 takes place during the Mabon celebration. We'll go through acceptances this Friday (starting 2pm to midnight EST). So if you've been lurking and wanting to apply, we'd love if you could do it until then. We're still hoping that we'll be able to get 8 more applications for Friday, so we can start our second chapter with a good number. With that being said, don't hesitate at taking a peek at our open roles, asking for prompts and applying! We're here to answer any doubts you may have about the plot or characters! As usual, players are encouraged to take up to second and third roles and for everyone who wants to help us promote the roleplay, make sure to reblog this teaser!

Hello! Answering to your question: There are 11 characters taken out of 52 and 7 players (admins included), and, at the moment, activity isn't the best and that's one of the reasons why we're aiming for more applications to start our second chapter. With that, it'll be easier to get activity back and, we'd be able to increase our family and keep Seasons of Reckoning alive.

So, if you've been lurking and you're interested at applying for our roleplay, don't let the current lack of activity hold you back. Apply! We're being as honest as possible here. Apply, and bring friends, help us promote the roleplay. We'll fight for this roleplay for as long as we can because we know the potential it holds and we want everyone to be able to experience Seasons as we've planned from day one. So come to us, and if you have any questions, we're here for you!

We have received various suggestions from our players and others of our alternate fc policy and have decided to provide various fc suggestions for the majority of our roles. They are now all listed within the bio for your convenience! You are still free to send us suggestions as well if none of the listed fcs appeal to you!

APPLICATION:

The application has now been shortened to provide for less anxiety and stress. We know sometimes a longer application can be a little intimidating and daunting and we want to make it as seamless and least stress-inducing for applicants so check it out and let us know if you have any questions.

TASK 005 → “ You may weather the storm, but will you weather the aftermath?”

The Great Eclipse that has passed through Moon Island did not depart without stirring up trouble for the residents of the town. The aftermath and consequences of the hallucinations has left several hospitalized and many shaken by the things they have seen. Several weeks have now passed and things are seemingly going back to normal, but perhaps for some it is not as easy to ignore what had happened during that darkened week of the Eclipse. How has your character come out of this last event? What, if anything, has happened to them? How are they doing now?

This task is mandatory and is a chance for you to recollect your headspace with regard to where your character(s) are currently in the game. This task can be posted as detailed headcanons of what happened to them during the Eclipse and how they are now– or you can write a self-para to include all the above mentioned. Tasks posted by players will be incorporated into the plot line as canon. This is to compensate for the plots involving taken characters that are now open. Last but not least, once you’re done with your task don’t forget to tag this one as sordev05 and, above it all,have fun!

The eve of Mabon is fast approaching, and for the supernaturals of Moon Island, it is a time for harvest-- for some, mourning. One year ago, an attack on the Eirene Coven had left the town reeling in the aftermath of Spencer Valiente-Gardner’s death. It was an awakening for some and for the first time in decades, the thought of peace did not come so easily. 

Who can tell what this somber season is going to bring? Death? Life? Everyone is on edge, still weary of the effects of the Eclipse. But come Mabon and Samhain, there’s no telling what is real and what is not. Where will you be when it all goes down? 

                                          It’s time to pick a side.

This admin note is directed at all of you who've been around and wanting to be part of Seasons of Reckoning.

While we'd love to have more roles taken and brought to life by lovely players, we've decided to put acceptances on hold until we reach, at least, ten applications. The main reason behind this action, is due to the fact that we need more roles taken for our second chapter to work. In case you’ve been working on your application or wanting to apply for one of our roles, you shouldn’t be discouraged to do so because of this note. In fact, this note is our way of sharing with future players, that we want you in the roleplay and that you definitely should apply! Send in your application, and invite your friends to be part of the roleplay with you. Help us spread the word and, hopefully, we’ll reach our goal of 10 applications sooner than expected!

We can’t wait to share with all of you what we have in store for our following chapter, and hopefully you’ll be as excited about it as we are! As usual, if you have any doubts and if you’re in need of prompts for a character you’re interested in, we’re here for all of you. Players are also encouraged to take up to a second role or third role, so check our open roles and apply for those you feel connected to.

Last but not least, in addition to this new action, we’ll come up with a teaser for our second chapter that everyone will be able to reblog for our third contest.
