Yes and no. Cradle, and presumably a few other core worlds, are definitely post-scarcity, but space is… really, really, really big, and a significant chunk of Humanity’s diaspora do not live in post-scarcity. Vast majority of them, actually. For Union, Utopia is a verb - a never ending project. A lot of this is covered in the lore section in the paid book, though I feel more than enough is mentioned across the free book too.

Man, I really wanna run a campaign where IPS-N is the villain. I feel that would be really fun in its own right. Or alternatively, a campaign where IPS-N isn't necessarily the villain, but they are kind of responsible for everything terrible that ends up happening. HA and SSC understandably get a lot of focus in official modules but I'd love to see more of IPS-N's malign influence on the Long Rim or something.

I sometimes want to talk more on here about some of my OCs, but also like 99% of my OCs are TTRPG characters I've never gotten a chance to play because I'm something of a Forever GM, and there's only so far I can go with building out their backstories and character.
