“Well, it’s not gonna be hard to track them down... but they’re not gonna give up easily. They don’t have access to very good guns, fortunately. And it’s pretty serious, it’s the one by Armarillo- it was hart to get our hands on”.

“Interesting, how bad of a deal are we looking at here? Wait better question, how serious should I be taking this?”

“So, I just got word back... apparently there’s a small name gang on East side looking to try and push us out of our safe house... they invested in gasoline and sticky grenades”.

“Uh- hey, Geoff? You might want to come see this”.

“Netflix and chill,” Jeremy says with a laugh, grabbing the remote and an xbox controller. He flicks on the tv and changes the source over to the console, booting up Netflix. While it loads, he flips himself around on the couch so he can rest his head in Kdin’s lap instead. What can he say? He’s a cuddler. He’ll cuddle ya

“Jeremy, please. That’s all I had planned tonight. Mind you, I’m always open to suggestions”, he teases. Well. It’s not all teasing. A little flirting, too. He’s not bothered when Jeremy switches positions- all that changes is that his hand goes to gently stroke what hair he has. It’s so short, that he really ends up kind of rubbing Jeremy’s scalp instead.

He considers the selection, eyes narrowed behind his glasses. “...Netflix. You know what I haven’t watched in forever? The Speed Racer movie- it’s actually really good”. Kdin looks back over at Jeremy, and rolls his eyes, giving his big toe a little pinch.

He gently hugs her back, and even tucks some of her hair back. “...It’s nothing. The least I can do”, Kdin assures her. But he lets her go, and smiles right on back. “Good plan. He’s probably around. And if you ever need help, I’ll be around”. 

With a nod, he takes a lap around her, clearly proud of his work. “...Amazing. A little make up- which if you don’t want my help with, Ryan does an amazing contour and shadow combination, but you didn’t hear that from me”. Kdin hums, and gently pats her shoulder. “...You’ll knock him dead, Jack”.

“I’m not even done yet”, he assures, taking in tops and jackets with a hum. Looking over, he smiles, and winks a little. “...It’s nothing, Jack. Anytime, you hear? Go get that on, I’ll find you the rest”. He’s already rummaging- finding a lovely silk tank, deep sea blue, and sets it with a black cover, long sleeves and long in the back and sides. Coupled with a layered gold necklace and some larger gold hoops, he nods.

Kdin pauses in his work- thread in his mouth and a needle in his hand, before sighing, and threading it. “...Listen to me Jack. I mean every word. Even if this ‘not date’ is a hypothetical crime lord with hypothetical tattoos. We’d kick his ass if he hurt you. And you’re gorgeous. Anyone who doesn’t see that isn’t worth the dirt you stand on”. With a few quick stitches, he securely attaches the two  chains on one side of the leggings, a half loop on one side, hanging from the hip. Perfect. “Feel free to get these and the boots on”.

“I would never. Please, Jack. I respect when you’ve got  a thing going”. Kdin ducks out for a second, returning with a sowing kit and a couple of thin golden chains. He smiles. “All I’m doing is accenting what you’ve already got. Because you’re pretty- and if he doesn’t realize that, he’s going to get taken down a few pegs”.
