dang someone's got a mouth on her but she has been trapped for 4 decades
I love reimagining Sofia the First episodes where Elena is inside the Amulet of Avalor from her perspective. You’re a sixteen-year-old heir to the throne trapped in a gemstone as a disembodied spirit with murdered parents, living family still in danger, a colonized country in need of liberation and untreated PTSD who nobody around you even knows exist. This has been your life for thirty-nine years by the time you finally find someone who might have the potential to free you. But first, you have to help her grow as a person. And all of these shenanigans keep happening. What was she thinking the whole time?
Sofia: (boasting to her friends about getting to sing the Enchancian anthem)
Elena: Oh my God, shut up. You sound like Esteban, and not in a good way.
Elena, a teenager and older sibling who hasn’t had the chance to tease anyone in roughly four decades: So… you’re expected to sing in front of a huge crowd tomorrow? Would be a shame. If something were to. Happen.
***
Amber: (deceives and manipulates Sofia and steals her amulet for personal gain)
Elena: You fucking brat! How dare you take advantage of your own sister’s trust after she’s been nothing but kind to you? Don’t you know how lucky you are? I would do anything to be able to just see my little sister again, talk to her, hug her, know that she’s safe and okay, let alone make her happy myself. You have so much, but you’re too spoiled rotten to appreciate it. You mistreat your family? Fine. Let’s see how you like them being threatened by an evil sorceress trying to take over your kingdom! ‘Cause trust me, it isn’t fun. Learn to be selfless or lose everything you’ve ever had! A BITCH FOR A BITCH!
***
Ivy: (takes the amulet to destroy it, which would kill Elena)
Elena: Shit.
***
Cedric: (deceives and manipulates Sofia and steals her amulet for personal gain)
Elena, who’s been onto him since day one, but feels completely unthreatened: You could be coveting any source of powerful magic, but no, you want the only one that you already know has a moral compass and will curse you for doing wrong. Genuine question: what are you doing with your life? I’m just gonna give you literal sticky fingers, and I’ll revoke that if you’re nice. You obviously don’t need much help to fail.
***
Miranda and Roland: (have sweet, bond-affirming moments with their children as good parents)
Elena: Aw, that’s nice. That’s - that’s nice. I’m fine.
***
Sofia: (is ten)
Elena: I’m so proud of Sofia. I think it’s time to enlist her to release me. Now how can I communicate that? Visions of Shuriki killing my parents and trying to kill me will get her started, right?

Madremonte AU ask — you mentioned Dolores’ relationship with Pepa and Abuela, but is Dolores still a daddy’s girl?
(It was alluded go in the film and I very much enjoy the thought of Dolores being a daddy’s girl while Camilo is obviously a mommy’s boy.)
I think she’s someone who very much gravitates towards Felíx, mainly because he is the rock of their family and she needs someone to hold her lest things get out of hand. We have to remember that Dolores was basically Abuela’s backup plan; Lolo knows she wasn’t first choice, and will never be able to live up to the idea of what Isabela could’ve been.
Though the tension is real with Pepa, I think Dolores really needs Felíx in her life to have someone who expects nothing more from her then to just be herself. Which is what she’s not 90% of the time.

aww bonding
Madremonte au
Dolores is always pinning up Mirabel's hair in fun styles and the attention is nice until she says "ow" too many times or doesn't want to wear a certain dress.
She’s stopped protesting years ago because Dolores doesn't raise her voice but she does get mean. Her voice becomes just as cool and sharp as a blade.
Her prima knows how to make her feel small.
But it’s fine.
Mirabel likes spending time with her prima.
She likes the accessories in her hair and shopping is fun even if she has to stay quiet.
She likes being top of all the gossip even if Dolores talks at her more than to her.
She likes the dancing lessons and the fuss and the girl talk even though she has nothing to say.
She doesn’t like that Dolores may whirl on her if Camilo winds her up too much.
She doesn’t like that she's discouraged to play with the village kids because she's too old.
She doesn’t like that she had been forced to practice her accordian very very quietly when she was still learning because Dolores just couldn’t take the noise.
But her prima is like a sister to her and spends time with her willingly. All that other stuff doesn't matter when they do sleepovers and Dolores does her makeup and makes her hair as extravagant as she can.
Mirabel just wishes she could tell her prima her secret feelings. Instead she whispers it to the never wilting flower on her windowsill when she's sure no one can hear.
For you @c-rose2081

dang what an existance
Hi again ^^ Hope you're fine ^^
Tell me, in your Mandremonte AU (hope I write it good ^^') if Isabela dissapear suddenly, Julieta will be over protecting her two remain daughters, especially Mirabel since she had no gift. no?
And since Mirabel love to say outside, is she close to Antonio? Did she told him about the strange Jungle creature she met the night of her Ceremonie?
Maybe I'm wrong but I can imagine that after Antonio get his gift and learn about the gentle Jungle creature by his animal friends, he want to met her too so he ask Mirabel everything she know about it (even if it's not much ^^) and they both wandering what this creature could be
Hi! No worries, I don’t mind the questions.
- Julieta is protective, but not in the same way as she is in Flightless. After Isabela fled, Juli spent months looking for her to the point of exhaustion. She only stopped when she got pregnant with Mirabel, and soon she just didn’t have enough energy to really do much at all. I say Julieta is quiet, and raised Mirabel quietly, because I think she’s suffering a lot from her grief, and never really got closure for what happened to her eldest. Her mind is often elsewhere, and she usually stays in the kitchen and hardly leaves the house. Any injuries have to come to Casita directly in order to get food, or Mirabel/Luisa make deliveries. And because Abuela’s attention is shifted onto Pepa’s side of the family, she doesn’t much care how Julieta chooses to use her gift as long as the work is being done.
Mirabel grew up without the pressures of a perfect older sister, and the constant scorn of her grandmother. She learned early that to keep her Abuela happy, she merely had to make herself useful and stay out of the way. So she became an apprentice of sorts to her Mama, helping in the kitchen and putting on a good show for the village. Unlike the film where she’s ousted as being ‘different’, Mirabel really is treated like ‘just another Madrigal’ here. She’s quiet because Mama doesn’t say much, and they communicate through actions rather then words. She isn’t constantly forced to stand out in order to be seen, so her nature is generally more down to earth, and focused on her own interests and abilities rather then having to please/impress others.
- Mirabel and Antonio are still super close. But now, Tonito has some of the pressures Mirabel had in the film. He’s contending with a perfect elder sister, and a delinquent, troublemaking brother. He doesn’t know where he fits yet, or what kind of gift he’ll have. Abuela looks at him as an oddball, as he’s not really interested in working to the bone, but rather being a kid. Mirabel is a quiet, strong comfort to him. They share their interests in the outdoors, and Tonio loves the stories Mira tells him, and the lessons she gives in sketching the world as she sees it. She’s his favorite person in the whole wide world.
When he does get his gift, the animals naturally tell him of their guardian who lives in the forest. The very same which Mira tells him stories of, and shows him pictures. He’s far to scared to travel into the jungle alone, but he’s more then happy to babble on to Mirabel about all the animals told him.

cool
This might be a bit of a random one but how do you think any other version of Dolores (from either of your other aus or canon) would react to her being the golden child in the Madremonte AU?
(I've just been thinking about it way too much oops 😂)
Honestly, I don’t think Dolores would like herself as the golden child. It’s true she’s been cast in Isabela’s shadow for most of her life, but at least she never had to be something she wasn’t for the sake of other people. Dolores from film can wish she had what Isa does, but isn’t really aware of how awful expectations can be, and how it can ruin a person’s heart. This goes for F!Dolores as well. Still able to be herself, just with a better relationship with Isabela. Isa is the one most changed in Flightless as she fights off her own expectations as the story goes on.
T!Dolores has seen what being a ‘golden child’ can do to a person and how bad it can truly be. She’d be horrified, knowing she could end up that way as well.
Being the golden child isn’t necessarily a good thing, especially if she lets herself get swallowed up by it.

this is so cute
okokok so has anyone heard that whole thing about how little kids and animals are more in-tuned with spirits than adults are?
what if Carrie and Julie (and Flynn once she starts being around those two more often) indirectly picked stuff up from the phantom boys?
like we know they were in the dark room, but what if part of their souls were reaching out for some sort of contact—any contact they could get?
a little Julie begging Rose to teach her piano, oh it’s just because Rose plays it right? she’s very pushy about it, Rose asks why the sudden interest. “Reggie is sad Mommy, music makes him feel better.” Rose just still for a second and goes “…Reggie?” and Julie does the little kid nod and eyeroll and says “Yeah, my friend Reggie, mommy.”
a little Carrie getting into an argument with Trevor, she comes out of her room ten minutes later, tears trailing down her face, clutching a teddy bear to her chest, eyes downcast. she apologizes to Trevor for fighting, telling him how much she loves him. “I love you too baby, but what brought this on?” she just rubs at her eyes, still not really looking at him “Luke says you shouldn’t fight with your parents, everyone ends up sad and we should all love each other.” Trevor is shellshocked, but just pulls his daughter into his chest tightly so she can’t see his own tears
little Flynn eventually falling during some intricate dance Carrie made up whole they were playing at Julie’s, happening to twist her ankle in the process. Ray is talking to her, commending her for being a strong warrior and being impressed that she’s barely cried. “I had Alex to calm me down.” Ray just glances around “Alex?” and Flynn nods “yeah!” and explains how she calmed her breathing.
the little things stick through the years. Julie always trying to look on the brighter side of things, turning to piano whenever she feels sad (up until her mom dies, even then the piano hurts more than it heals) Carrie tries to avoid fighting with Trevor and instead trying to talk things out as much as possible, although she’s always fiercely determined to get him to see her side. Flynn remains calm in even the harshest situation, turning to whatever she can get her hands on to rid the nerves from her body (dancing, drumming, tumbling, cheerleading, she’s tried basically everything at least once)
even after meeting the boys, it takes them a while to notice things the girls share with them. Julies drive and passion for music is obvious, but they assume there’s no connection (not like that) Carries overt interest in dancing, a way to express who she is and how she’s proud of that. Flynn’s need to brighten up any mood, her intense avoidance of direct confrontation.
(and if they all have stuffed animals that are indirectly named after the boys, well they don’t need to know. Julie’s bear ‘Merker’, Carrie’s penguin ‘Petey’ and Flynn’s cat ‘Patter’ (which has a sister cat named ‘Pitter’ thank you very much) are connected to them at all)

sweet powers
Bored and I miss this au so I’m going to go into detail on how calamity powers work here
Ehem
So basically this is part of the reason i stopped calling this a wolf walker au cuz…I uh accidentally made my own lore
So there are three blessings of the wolves
The wit the heart and the strength blessings
Pink frog gifted various humans with the strength blessing however these humans are of the past now but they inspired many legends things like werewolves and fables came from them!
All three have the sleeping wolf form thing but they each have other powers
They can all bless others with their powers however only the original ones connected to the gems have clamaity powers
Okay so Strength first
has healing (aka giving others strength)
Agility unatual strength
Increase gravity with a lot of focus Usally only for a momment or two
(Reco
Historically they where the only human wolf walkers
+direct connection
Lava and fire control only in calamity form
Turns pink
Heart (my fave power set)
Dreamwalking! (This is its own whole thing I’ll go into detail later post ) if she sleeps in her wolf form Anne will be able to dream walk
Sense emotion in wolf form
can sense people’s emotions depending on her own emotional state the line between others and her own
Can intensify emotions with a lot focus Usally only for a moment or two
Direct Connection
Plant control hense the leaves
Wit
Honestly this is the one I’ve had the most trouble with power wise but here’s what I have
Memory - can project her own and others memories.
Heightened hearing and sight out of wolf form
With focus can also absorb others knowledge
Direct connection controls water

cool au, I thought that the kids who got the powers once every 80 years would be called the calamity trio, anyway I think it should be called the calamity games
Introducing my (first?) Amphibia AU!
Alright, so, I haven’t even named this AU yet, but I really want to share my ideas so far, so anyway. ^-^
Please feel free to interact with this post or send me asks about this au! <3
This is a human AU (but the land/world/whatever is called Amphibia).
It’s kind of inspired by The Hunger Games, with children being forced to kill one another as a “celebration” because of the government. But there’s a few differences between this and the games in Panem - instead of 12 districts, there are 3 tribes (Heart, Wit, and Strength) and the child-vs-child fights to the death only happen every 80 years or so. This is because the calamity gems only give their powers to one set of people at a time, and all three gem wielders have to die before to the powers can be inherited by the new generation. So, every 80 years or so, each of the 3 tribes gets a child blessed with calamity powers.
The three children, called the Children of Wit/Strength/Heart, are trained until around their 18th birthdays, where the three of them fight - the winner gets to help rule the central government along with The Night (who is basically treated as a god), and their tribe gets rewarded.
But, something goes wrong during one specific cycle - for some reason, the Children of Heart/Wit/Strength (Anne/Marcy/Sasha) can communicate via dreams, and actually end up becoming friends. But when they’re supposed to kill one another, they realize something - they’ve fallen in love and can’t kill each other.
So they do the only thing they can think of - run.

cool, I wonder if their outfits are their calamity forms
Gods Of Amphibia Au
Tumblr media
In the beginning there was but premortal stew. From which emerged the creators of Amphibia. The Gods Anne, Sasha and Marcy… - The Calamity Enchiridion Root 1:1
The Gods Of Amphibia is an Au I have been working on for a while! The basic premise is that instead of being interdimensional travelers from the human realm, Sasha, Anne and Marcy are actually immortal gods who created the Amphibia and all life on it. The girls are a style of god known as a embodied theist. Which means they are able to walk amongst their people and speak to them directly. Which basically kick starts us off when Anne saves Sprig from that large red Mantis, like at the start of the show.
All the girls are gods and govern over different aspects of life, some of which they played a part in creating, others of which they were assigned by their people. I don’t have a full list of them yet, but I have the basics. (I wasn’t sure how to change all their clothes so Marcy and Sasha have their show outfits thus far.)
Tumblr media
Marcy
God of wit. Creator of the Stars. Mother of Newts and Axolotls. Governs creativity, knowledge, learning, and inspiration. Marcy is known for visiting mortals of intellect, providing them with ideas and solutions. For this reason she is also considered a muse. Marcy is the most hands on of the gods, always ready to pop in and see her people when they want her (or don’t want her even!).  Marcy has the ability to sense when her people (All of them) are bored and is happy to give them things to do. Marcy is mainly worshiped in places like Newtopia… however that has come under issues as of late…
Tumblr media
Anne
God of heart. Creator of the moon. Mother of Frogs and companion creatures. Governs love, harvest, birth , health and forgiveness. Anne will sporadically visit Amphibians in need. She provides comfort, kindness and a few small miracles here and there. Anne is not as hands on a god as Marcy, but she does connect closely with her people. To the point where she will grow close, familiar attachments to them, which isn’t the best idea for an immortal being. Anne also has the ability to sense when her people (All of them) are sad or suffering. Anne is mostly worshiped in rural areas.
Tumblr media
Sasha
God of strength. Creator of the sun. Mother of toads and beasts. Governs war, loyalty, leadership, endurance and suffering. Sasha… does not visit Amphibians much and in the rare few times she has, she has not given out things for free. She instead offers trials in return for her blessings, if she appears to you at all. Sasha provides strength and courage if you impress her enough. Those she has blessed become amazing warriors. However that’s about all she gives. Sasha finds the mortals annoying and trivia, thus she is the least hands on of the gods. Sasha is infuriated that Anne and Marcy put so much importance in the mortals and she refuses to understand why. However the truth is the mortals frighten her slightly and she has her own personals issues to deal with. Sasha has the ability to sense when her people (All of them) are angry or frustrated. Sasha is the least worshiped of the gods, but that’s more at her request. The only temples in her name are at the four toad towers. (However all the churches feature each of the gods, they are just more tilted towards one.)
God Powers.
Its hard to really pin down what powers I want them to have or not have, so I’ve started to make a list.
Can
Create life
Alter weather and world slightly
Endow any living thing with energy pretraining to their specialty
Help accelerate the healing of wounds
Change their clothes instantly
More?
 Cannot
Shapeshift (they can grow bigger or smaller.)
Drastically alter weather (They can get big and make tidal waves and destroy mountains if they wanted to or if Anne let them..)
Control death. (Though the gods made the first Amphibians from the dirt and breathed life into them, they have no idea how souls work, where they come from or where they go. The Amphibians have historically made Sasha the governor of death, but she can’t do anything with it. )
Go back in time
Go forward in time
See the future
Control Amphibians bodies or minds.
more?
So yeah, Outside of that this is all I have for now! Feel free to make suggestions, ask questions and have fun with this idea!
My fanfiction so far!- https://archiveofourown.org/works/34197280

wow, he's barley human
I've had this vision for so long of like. Season 2A era all the coven heads and higher-ups like Golden Guard Hunter and Kikimora and they're all at a long banquet table with Belos in the tall important chair at the very end.
And he's got his mask on and he's totally silent. Every so often he stirs around his plate of gourmet ratwormatouille on his shiny gold plate but he never eats any, he doesn't eat food anymore just souls but he sits there at the table the whole time and his rancid aura permeates the whole room. He wants to have a bowl of unseasoned boiled potatoes so so bad.
I don't know why this scenario is so funny to me but like just imagine it for me. And they do that every night that's dinner.
And Eberwolf has a dog food bowl btw important detail okay

aww Hunter's being a teenager and what a rascal he is LOL
Toh au where everything is the same except⬇
Kikimora constantly has "drop kick me" and "stinky" and "breath if you like me" etc type notes on her back and it's never explained until season 2 when we see the Golden Guard causally walk by her being his normal annoying self (affectionate) and pats her on the back before he walks away whistling, and when Kiki turns around we see the "trip me" note. Kiki is too distracted by mentally murdering Hunter for the 728th time to notice the pat on the back let alone a note
One of the reasons that Kikimora hates Luz so much is that she broke the unspoken rule of hysterically laughing when she first saw the notes
The coven scouts have become accustomed to this, they take daily bets on what the notes will say
Coincidentally someone (Kiki. She has no evidence that he's the one who plants the notes but she can feel it in her soul) draws fake mustaches and faces on Hunter's GG mask whenever he takes it off. No one ever mentions it and he's too sleep deprived to notice
Enjoy

cool, and so true
How do you see Luz's family? Like who's in it and playing what part? And be as detailed as you want - need - I'm very curious
Alright, here we go!
Camila, the amazing mama she's had all her life who's relationship has only grown between them and it's stronger than ever. Number 1# support system in the HR and group mom to all the kids
Eda, her loving, crazy mama she gained in the DR. There will always be a special bond between them for Eda being the first person (other than Camila) to except all her qurks and interests embrace her for it. Mom/crazy aunt to all the kids
Raine, her DR parent. Gives great advice especially for anxiety related issues. Absolutely a teen rebellion role model (THE Raine Whispers?!). Teaches her all the best bard spells and is always super patient
Lilith, cool aunt always down for bad girl™ shenanigans and adventures, ready to help with any and all school related questions 24/7
King, little brother. Would do anything for each other and both super protective. Number 1# cuddle buddy. Will always make groan inducing puns together
Amity, her awesome girlfriend/future wife. Her biggest fan and another huge support. Helps each other with self worth issues. Always hanging out and holding hands. Possible Bi awakening. Always ready to pull each other from danger. Enemies to friends to girlfriends
Willow, first and forever best friend. They are sisters hands down. Have been and always will be together through thick and thin. Have helped each other grow SO much since the beginning. Support each other's crazy stunts
Gus, also best friend and her's/Hunter's little brother. Always cheering each other on and lift each other up. Speak in memes. Getting into trouble and shenanigans all the time and giving they're parents grey hairs
Hunter, he's/Gus's older brother and Camila's son. Former enemies to reluctant allies to friends to siblings. Have helped each other through trauma especially Belos related. Have such oldest and youngest syndrome. Endlessly annoy each but would but would also kill for each other
Vee, her's/Hunter's little sister and Camila's daughter. Had a bit of a bumpy start at first but after some hard truths and life or situations are now 100% sisters. Vee seems like the voice of reason but in actuality is incredibly fierce and ready to kill to protect her family. They give each other wildly different dating advice
Emira & Edric, Amity's siblings/Luz's future siblings in-law/Hunter's step siblings??. Chaos twins. Probably founded the Lumity fan club. They are the friends you go to when you "know a guy". Always down to commit illegal acts and have the bail money ready. Constantly teasing
Alador, Amity and Em & Ed's dad/Luz's future father in-law/probably Darius husband/Hunter's step dad??. Very supportive of his kids relationships and always doing his best to make time and listen to them. Thought Luz was a member of the family 5 minutes ago. Probably already has the wedding planned
Darius, rich wine uncle/Hunter's dad/Amity, Em & Ed's step dad??/Alador's husband??. Acts like he doesn't care but will fight anyone who hurts his kid('s). Not so silently judging everyone's outfits. Goes to every sports match. Teaches Amity and Hunter crazy abomination spells because he claims Alador is to much of a hack to be trusted
Eberwolf, fun/crazy uncle/Darius' little brother. Has shown everyone what would probably be considered illegal beast keeping magic. Rides on people's shoulders whenever someone is having a bad day. Gives the kids tips on the best way to annoy Darius
Steve, the guy who just kind of showed up and is now everyone's honorary big brother. Gives rides on motorcycle. Like Em & Ed is also the guy you go to when you "know a guy". Hooks everyone up with a therapist
I hope this is okay! Thank you so much for this ask

wow so much
Hunter (toh) is so much. he's a genuine prodigy. by the standards of the world he's disabled. he's snarky. he's kind. he will threaten you. if you call him names he gets sad. he's a nerd. he can kick your ass with his bare hands. he thinks a bandaid belongs in a formal sewing job. he can scale a two story building. he's loyal to his boss. he's breaking rules constantly. he's a clone. his species is extinct. he's a child soldier. he cosplays. he willingly changed sides. he thinks being dropped off on a mountain and expected to survive to the bottom is reasonable and enjoyable skill testing. he wants to be a craftsman. he was created as the replacement for a man that his creator murdered himself and spent his childhood gaslit into hanging on his creator's every lie only to have the rug violently pulled out from under him and he has to spend the majority of his initial adjustment time on an alien world with little hope of return and also he gets possessed. he tells his pet bird he loves him. he's part of the main cast. the school principal has more episodes than he does

cool au
Hi! I love your hcs and would like to make a request, I would like you to let your imagination flow with hcs of toh in modern life. I would especially like from eda/young eda, but it's not mandatory! Thanks!
Hello! Thank you so much <3 Here are some modern au hcs (in a non-magical world):
I think a lot of Eda and Raine's meeting would be the same. Eda would be forced to go to a competition because of her terrible behavior while Raine would for their scholarship. Raine would have a scholarship for their musical talent but also has an interest in chemistry. Instead of Raine using magic to change Eda's drink, they use a pinch of salt to make it sweeter.
While Eda loved learning, the school system was wrong for her. She could usually understand something but she could not sit still or be taught in a "normal" manner. In this way, she was very knowledgeable in many subject areas but failed on tests. She even enjoyed learning music but only really developed her craft after meeting Raine.
Eda has depression and anxiety. She uses her humor and false confidence to hide this. Instead of having a curse, she has narcolepsy. Which developed around fourteen. For some reason when I think about what she would have instead of her owl beast curse that's all I can think of. I am sure that there is probably a better alternative but I do not feel knowledgeable enough about those to label her as them. Her narcolepsy is what really fuels her depression and anxiety.
Gwendolyn became obsessed with curing Eda, but like in the show. Narcolepsy cannot be cured, only treated. This eventually drove her away. She made many running away attempts. Leaving her home for several days without any notice. Yet she always came back, until she remembered the old broken house that her father used to use. She did not ask for permission to use this, she just went in. Technically, the house is still in her father's name. But her would never say anything to her.
Instead of hurting Dell physically, she could see the stress that her disorder placed on him despite him trying to hide it. She couldn't handle her father, the one who kept everything light and happy, be upset. So she slowly pulled away. In this au though, she talks to her father occasionally instead of cutting off complete contact. Usually through text message.
Raine and Eda still break up temporarily. Their breakup is more so fueled by Eda's refusal to open up. Raine knows about Eda's narcolepsy but Eda is still very quiet about it.
Instead of teaching herself, since Eda hates studying, I think she would likely meet a more kinesthetic teacher (as an older teen/young adult) and they would be the one to lead her into being more knowledgeable on various subjects. They would see her as intelligent (while everyone else sees her as a troublemaker first and foremost) and challenge her intelligence. While Eda has been in misery for years, struggling to keep learning and even just attending school, this is the first time someone makes her want to learn again. This person would never push her on her disorder, if they ever mention it. Which makes Eda feel safe and even tempts her to talk about it. This would be the only person Eda really has until meeting King. Through them, she basically is taught higher level english/math/chemistry/etc courses. She would not see this as a romantic relationship. More friendship and possibly even a parental one. The teacher would be much older than her. I think she studies music on her own until the Raeda breakup. Then when she plays music it hurts too much for her to focus. (If you want to know more on this oc let me know ;D )
Eda does odd jobs around town. Almost everyone knows her, but they don't know her. She will be working at a grocery store one day, then is helping a fisherman for money the next. No one knows when she will appear or disappear, but they are usually somehow conned into letting her work.
As her side job, she has yard sales outside businesses. She has been chased off by the police several times.
Eda and Raine definitely protest. They go to lgbt protests / pride parades and support their local queers. Later they go with Amity and Luz.
Eda finds King when he is a homeless small child (almost toddler). He was bundled in several coats and looked after by a few of the homeless adults but really had no parent. She didn't take him in immediately, she first saw him but left. However, her mind wouldn't rest. She was constantly suffocated by guilt and eventually went back to get him. He was a tiny thing with tons of dirty hair. Which she would learn after he bathed was quite fluffy. Despite her hatred of paperwork, she formally adopted him. She is still haunted by the two weeks that he was left in the alleyway without her.
Eda's house is actually many miles away from Camila's house. On the edge of a small town. (While it is in Connecticut, it is far enough away from the city that it has a feeling of being in a different place. The weather is still the same though lol)
Instead of Luz finding the old shack, she finds Eda's house deep in the woods after getting lost. After a day of adventures, she takes a deep interest in the woods and the nature there. She enjoys the way Eda lives, teaching herself the things she loved in a way that wasn't constricting (Luz hadn't met the teacher oc yet), looking for herbs to cook from the woods, the little kid that had big eyes and that begged for stories from her, she random shiny objects she found scattered around the house, the way magic seemed to live there despite the constantly voice in her head telling her magic didn't exist. Her fingers typed out that she had arrived at camp, and that she loved it.
Luz doesn't really speak about her mom to Eda. Due to this, Eda assuming her mother isn't the best which is what pushes her to allow Luz to stay. Of course she does find out Camila is a lovely person eventually and feels shitty.
In the town, there are only a handful of prominent families - one being the Blights. There is also only one school; However, Luz never goes there due to it being summer time.
Luz meets Amity in the library as she is studying before school begins again.
Luz meets Willow in the woods. She has a journal and categorizes plants. While she takes all the normal classes at school, Willow's extracurricular class is botany.
Willow introduces Gus to Luz when she comes to see Luz the day after meeting her.
Instead of a Human Appreciation Club, Gus runs a very small club called Trinket Appreciation Club. He loves Eda's house and asks to bring things from her collection to show off.
Amity is an honor student and takes honor classes (ofc).
Much like the og, Amity would hate Luz at first. Instead of Luz challenging her to a duel, Amity challenges Luz to an intelligence test. However, school is out of course, so the tests have to be made by Willow and Gus. They create questions that are just not what Amity was expecting. What she wanted was math problems or how to structure a sentence, yet they ask about what they're interested in. Such as "what are the qualities that are used to scale trinkets", "what flower is poisonous that also can heal", etc. Amity can't pass because it's just based off Willow and Gus's random knowledge. However they do include one question that Luz would have to get right (as they are partial to her of course) which is - Who is Azura's greatest foe? Luz notices that Amity actually gets this question right and gets excited that she knows The Good Witch Azura. This is what sparks their friendship but it takes a bit longer since they aren't forced together by classes.
However, once they are solid friends Amity came over with Willow and Gus which was very often.
Amity and Willow still were ex friends after Amity was forced to cut off Willow for not doing well in school. However, Willow opened up and they became civil again. It took a long time for them to be real friends. Luz was the real one helping with this.
Instead of Vee shapeshifting into Luz. She was simply adopted. It was right before Manny became sick. She was not sent to "the camp" because she actually loved school and excelled. She was the one who tried to keep Luz out of trouble but ultimately couldn't keep her from bringing the snake for her project rip.
Overall, instead of being a show about Luz connecting with magic, it would be about Luz connecting with nature.

I'm writing an au where the coven heads are mentoring children and some of the coven heads are rebels but all the kids are secretly rebels
Some Owl House AUs I know and some I made:
- The Raven/Crow House (an AU where Luz is a witch that goes to the human world/species swap AU)
- The Owl House: Swaped (an AU where Amity is the main character/role switch AU)
- The Owl House: Switched (an AU where Hunter is the main character/role switch V2 AU)
- The Owl House: Shifted (an AU where Gus is the main character/role switch V3 AU)
- The Owl House: Reversed (an AU where Eda is the main character/role switch and age switch AU)
- The Human House (an AU where humans and witches are animals and animals are humans and witches/animalized AU)
- The Owl House: Years Later (an AU taking place many years later/future AU)
- The Owl House: Years Before (an AU taking place years before Luz showed up, telling the stories of the older characters about how they become who they are/past AU)
- The Horror House (an AU where the boiling isles is a place of anarchy, where sanity is almost nonexistent and everyone is trying to kill one another/horror AU)
- Old Witch Luz (an AU where Luz is really old but she's still determined to fight one last time to save her family and friends/inspired by Marvel's Old Man series)
- The Owlet House (an AU where most of the characters are younger/little AU)
Apologies to the preexisting AUs if I got their names wrong

cool au
Deciding to ramble about my toh/amphibia au cause why not :D
This may get long so I'll put a cut here:
OKAY SO It's kinda like a sibling au :D!!
First to talk bout Luz and Marcy:
Marcy is Luz's adopted little sister
Marcy never met Luz's dad
Unfortunately Luz and Marcy kinda encourage each other's bad habits at school so WHOOP. THINK INSIDE BOX CAMP FOR THEM
Yee Luz still follows Owlbert into the Demon Realm and Marcy chases after Luz
Shenanigans ensue (of course) but eventually both Luz and Marcy end up staying with Eda
Luz is a bit protective of Marcy, and Marcy is also protective of Luz but Luz doesn't really know that fgcf
Marcy is in fact involved in a prophecy of sorts... more about that later
Anne and the Plantars:
Anne actually lives with the Plantars! Who live very close to Eda (they talk frequently)
Why does Anne live with the Plantars you ask? Anne's been cursed :((
She got scared of hurting her parents, and the Plantars hearing bout her situation offered for her to stay with them
Anne was obviously scared of that too, but the Plantars pointed out that they're friends with The Owl Lady; she can help Anne deal with her curse
Anne visits the Owl House on Saturdays :D
Sprig and Anne do go to Hexide, both in the bard Coven, I think
Sprig really wants to multitrack
Once the option becomes available, I think Anne will want to too, but she doesn't really consider it at first
Anne and Marcy become bestiesss
Hunter and Sasha:
Sasha's pretty much the scrappy little sister Hunter decided to adopt
Both of them do love each other very much, but unlike Luz and Marcy's obvious bond, Sasha likes to mess with poor Hunter
He likes to follow rules; Sasha does not
So yeah
But at the end of the day they're still siblings, and they often just talk to each other until bed :D
Emperor Belos didn't want to let Sasha into the Emperor's Coven, but finding out Sasha was part of ~the Prophecy~ let her come in
He pretends it's cuz Hunter pleaded though :/
Anyways I really like Hunter and Sasha's bond :D siblings who fight and drive each other crazy but at the end of the day love each other to pieces
I don't know yet how King Andrias comes into play but fgdg we'll see
Lady Olivia, General Yunan, and Grime are all in the Emperor's Coven :0
Anyways yes Marcy, Sasha, and Anne are all involved in a Prophecy that has to do with the Collector... King's involved too...
Something about Luz really wanting to be in a prophecy and then it's actually her little sister
Willow, Gus, and Amity have around the same character arc in this :D
Anne and Marcy are Lumity shippers ghcvdcv
Anyhow, that's all I'll say for now about this au, but maybe I'll add more later :D

this seems really cool
Here’s an official outline for @lynxz-studios and I’s AU, the Calamity Spirits AU!
Background
When the Guardian created the Calamity Stones, they also created three corresponding angels, of a sort, that the gems would house. These angels would watch over each set of gem wielders to make sure they were “worthy”.
The Heart gem is inhabited by a giant wolf named Lunimus, a huge lioness named Virsol resides in the Strength gem, and the Wit gem has a massive raven named Sagacella. These names, however, are not revealed to anyone except gem wielders who are deemed worthy. So, to most, they are simply named after their gems’ respective attributes of Heart, Strength and Wit.
They’re kind of foils to the Calamtrio, in a way - wild, free reflections of their gem aspects, completely sure of who they are. Lunimus is adaptable and driven by instinct, knowing intuitively who he can and cannot rely on. Virsol is confident, powerful and unwavering, knowing what she’s capable of and how to use her strength. Sagacella is resourceful and cunning, knowing what they want and how to get it - no matter what obstacles stand in their way.
Show Events
When the Calamtrio are initially connected to the gems, the power between them is very wild and uncontrolled. They become even more so after everything that goes down in TC, as the spirits become dissatisfied with the humans - which is a big part of the reason Anne’s powers take so much out of her, and why using them feels bad (aside from the fact that she’s only half-connected to the Heart gem).
At some point during Season 3 (maybe All In?) the spirits “test” the Calamtrio by exposing them to all their insecurities, and after a tough time, the human trio come out successful, and prove how they’ve all changed for the better. Anne affirms to Lunimus that she knows who she is now, and though she’s been wronged, she won’t let that define her, and if the hard path will end up being better for herself and the ones she loves, then that’s the one she’s going to take. Sasha tells Virsol that she’s not that person anymore, that she wants to cooperate, not control, and that her days of manipulation to get what she wants are over. Marcy admits to Sagacella that her trying to escape reality is what ended up hurting herself and those around her, and affirms that she doesn’t want to live a sugar-coated lie anymore.
After the Calamtrio “beat” the spirits, they reveal their true names and become willing to give the humans full access to the powers - which they end up doing in The Hardest Thing, of course.
When Anne is sent back after dying, she’s sent back with reformed, normal-animal-sized versions of the Calamity Spirits, who have just enough inter-dimensional power left to take themselves and the Calamtrio to the human realm one last time. The Guardian intends for their angels to watch over these humans from the earth, granting them one last piece of Amphibia.
The spirits still retain a bit of magic. Lunimus is able to soothe those around him, allowing them to think more clearly, and is attuned to the emotions of others. Virsol is able to strengthen one’s resolve, and has a lot of endurance herself. Sagacella can read the thoughts of others, and open their mind to communicate things to a person, even over a distance.
Once they “reform” they develop their own personalities. Lunimus is the titular “little brother” of the group, with a bit of a tendency towards brattiness and melodrama. Virsol is like a protective older sister with a burning curiosity streak - you will not like her when she’s bored. Sagacella has massive “oldest sibling that doubles as a semi-parent” vibes. They sometimes have to stop the other two from squabbling, which is easier some times than others - Virsol is at their complete mercy, while Lunimus is more rebellious towards them.
