SUSAN DIDN’T EXPECT TO LIVE THROUGH THE SECOND WAR. why would she, when during the first almost her entire family was slaughtered, and soon after voldemorts return, her last living bones relative had been killed ? [ BEING PART OF THE BONES FAMILY WAS A DEATH SENTENCE. ] though the act of dying does terrify her greatly ( like it really would any young girl. ), she does finds solace in the idea that she’ll reunite with her relatives sooner rather than later. BECAUSE OF THIS, SHE DECLARES THAT ROMANTIC INTERESTS ARE OUT OF THE QUESTION but that doesn’t stop her from day-dreaming.
AMELIA BONES WAS SUSANS LAST LIVING MAGICAL RELATIVE, and after her death, susan’s maternal grandparents gain custody of her. but because they are muggles, they lack the knowledge of the magical world, which causes susan to feel a out of place [ SHE BARELY KNEW HER GRANDPARENTS. ] she uses the time with her new relatives to learn more about her mother, who susan resembles extremely in her younger years.
AFTER GRADUTING HOGWARTS, SUSAN FOLLOWS HER AUNTS LEAD. the defeat of voldemort means freedom for the last living bones member. amelia bones was someone susan inspired to be ever since she was a child, so it only made sense for her to join the department of magical law enforcement. THOUGH, SHE FEELS INCLINED TO BE A SPOKESPERSON FOR THOSE IN TROUBLE. much like a lawyer, we’ll pretend those exist.
