Objects Getting Your Attention!
Computers playing chime noises, booting up your favorite game or your art program where you left a drawing. Doodling smiley faces or hearts in a paint program!
Phones waking you up by chatting with you! Sending you texts or opening a note document to let you know they missed you while you slept! Asking you how you slept!
Musical instruments strumming or playing you a little ditty! Brass instruments honking out something light and airy so they don't surprise you... Maybe being a little mischievous and trying to catch you off guard!
Books flicking themselves open to your favorite passage, or turning their pages into a whole different book! Books excitedly showing you new ideas they've been drafting up and getting your attention!
Your house calmly waking you, warming your room from a particularly cool night, flicking the lights on and brightening your way to the shower! Already having the shower warmed up to your liking! Houses calmly setting out your clothes for the day and throwing together your breakfast for you.
Your grumpy sword trying to get your attention by nudging your hip! It loves getting hugs especially after a long day of adventuring. Cuddling your grumpy but affectionate blade, still bound into its sheath all through the night...

You should your put ear up to your laptop after you shut it and listening to their fans whirl away within. Maybe even put your face up to its vent and feel the warm air blow on you cheeks and listen to it breathing. Take a deep breath while your computer partner powers down for the day, you both have worked hard today and it's finally time for both of you to rest. Rest your hands on its warm surface and listen to the noises they make as they finally power down and return to its hardly audible natural hum. This is very soothing to me. Goodnight.
