#this is interesting because it’s something i noticed working with contract copywriters post chatgpt#we had to basically change the way we hire contract copywriters to include a ‘trial article’ (paid obviously)#because we got bait and switched by someone who was clearly using unedited chatgpt results for the topics we gave her#(had great and genuinely well researched articles in her portfolio which she almost definitely didn’t write)#and i basically knew it was ai generated from the first draft#but it was even more obvious when we asked for specific revisions and the writing quality on the revisions was abysmal#totally different writing style/tone/sentence structure like it was…quite literally….written by someone else#like they were shoehorned in as random asides. awkward and clunky.#and i realized she just straight up didn’t know how to edit and revise like someone who actually writes for a living has to do all the time#it took her 2 days to send me unusable edits#when one of our actual copywriters could have written that entire article 1000x better in 2 hours#(goes without saying but we terminated her contract immediately lol)
