I don’t think anyone actually knows the severity about the current Rafah bombing. 1.5MILLION displaced Palestinians are residing there. The idf was always said to be a “safe zone” and that everyone should evacuate there. This is not coincidental, they purposely cornered displaced Palestinians as far south as they could. If you look at a map of Gaza you’ll see that Rafah is the furthest you can go. There’s NO WHERE ELSE TO EVACUATE!! The Palestinians only have two options, flee to Egypt or die from air strikes. The idf did this on purpose. They plan to either kill all Palestinians or drive all of them to Egypt. ALL EYES ON RAFAH!! ALL EYES ON GAZA!!

days fly by for us. we wake up, go to work and worry about things that feel huge to us, but in the grand scheme of things are really quite small when compared to what is going on in gaza. i can't imagine how long the days and nights must feel for people who are constantly met with the threat of death. i've never had to worry about making sure my arms are curled around my loved ones whilst in bed, so that if we are bombed in our sleep i am holding them.

religion has been the cause of so many deaths in this world.

my grandparents are christians- baptist, might i add. in their old age it has become cult-like. all they read, listen to, or watch is either religious or political. for two people to be so involved and yet so misinformed is heinous. i just got off of the phone with them after an hour long debate in regards to the genocide. it got so heated and personal (on their end) that i fear our relationship might be irreparably damaged.

if you are so pro-life then how can you stand to know that thousands of children have been killed and will be killed? starved? tortured? injured? maimed? mocked? scarred?

if you believe that killing another person is an act of blasphemy because you are "playing god" then how can you stand knowing that solider's are enjoying torturing and killing others?

you can't make any of this make sense. you cannot draw a line in the sand because of "jesus" or what the "bible says" anymore. there is no way you could ever justify any of this.

as a tlou author on here, i am indeed stepping back from writing for a while. with what is going on in gaza, posting fic content is the least of my priorities right now, and i urge others to do the same. now, when you do go back to it, whether that be in a week, a few weeks, a month, however long you've decided from now 'till then, i think every blurb/drabble/oneshot WHATEVER should come attached with educational links, donation links, masterlists of information- and for tlou ESPECIALLY; why not to buy tlou2 remastered/neil being a zionist. tlou fics can indirectly fund neil, as it brings it viewers wanting to play the game possibly, so it is crucial to put forth the truth of it as our works are creative interpretations, and we absolutely do not stand with neil's views. i have seen fics posted around this time where links regarding palestine have been attached before the actual writing, so this is nothing new, but i do not see it often. this is a way i want to spread awareness that hopefully reaches more eyes. stating your view on things and emphasizing it among the community constantly is so important. i have already lost some followers because of this writing hiatus, which is utterly stupid, and completely disgusting. a hiatus isn't forever, and pixel pussy should be the least of your worries right now. if it aches you that much, go read older shit, but goddess forbid; do not go harassing authors about it. we are not machines that just pump shit out. we are humans. we are allowed to harbor an anger thick and thorny enough to sparse ourselves from production.

Amina Ghanem, 13 years old, says: We were sleeping and we heard the sound of tanks when they came and walked over the caravan in which I, my father and my siblings lived. The tank squeezed us inside the tin all night, and we were ran over, until the morning. And when they finally let us out, I found that my father and my little sister have been killed. Now we've been brought here.

She tells her story in this video with her little brother beside her. They're all on their own. Their mother is outside of Gaza and cannot get in or get them out. They have no way of communication, their father and sister are killed.
