Located in the heart of Dublin City, a walk through the cobbled stones of Trinity College Dublin will bring visitors back to the 18th century, when the magnificent Old Library building was constructed. Inside is housed the Book of Kells - a 9th-century gospel manuscript famous throughout the world.

With sightings over the centuries of at least nineteen individual ghosts, accounts of the sounds of a phantom battle being heard to play out upon the castle grounds, a banshee and the frighteningly hideous and oppressively foul-smelling Elemental; Leap Castle truly merits its longstanding reputation as “the most Haunted Castle in the world.” Built in the early 1500′s under the supervision of the powerful and warring O’Carroll clan, Leap Castle has been the centre of much bloodshed and brutal attrocities.

Even with fog, rain, and little visibility, the coastline of Ireland is simply stunning.

The Devil's Ladder is the hiking route to Carrauntoohil, Ireland's highest mountain (1,038 meters). What looks like a landslide from a distance is actually the most direct route up to the summit. When the weather is good, climbing the rocks is a great adventure that should only be tackled with sure-footedness and mountain experience. When it rains, the Devil's Ladder (which is rightly named) turns into a waterfall and makes the descent in particular a very slippery and dangerous affair. Don't be fooled by the sunny vibe in the pictures, we actually experienced heavy rain, storms, and even hail. It was all worth it though for the stunning views and wild beauty.

The city Derry/Londonderry is home of Ireland's only completely intact historic Walled City, the iconic television series Derry Girls, and bloody political conflicts of the past.

Along the coast of Northern Ireland, many wonders await. Game of Thrones fans know Dunluce Castle as the House of Greyjoy in the Iron Islands, home of Theon and Yara Greyjoy. Dunluce is one of the most picturesque and romantic of Irish Castle, with evidence of settlement from the first millennium, the present castle ruins date mainly from the 16th and 17th centuries. It was inhabited by both the feuding McQuillan and MacDonnell clans.
Flanked by the wild Atlantic Ocean and a landscape of dramatic cliffs, for centuries the Giant’s Causeway has inspired artists, stirred scientific debate, and captured the imagination of all who see it. The natural phenomenon lies at the foot of the basalt cliffs along the sea coast on the edge of the Antrim plateau in Northern Ireland. It is made up of some 40,000 massive black basalt columns sticking out of the sea. The dramatic sight has inspired legends of giants striding over the sea to Scotland. Geological studies of these formations over the last 300 years have greatly contributed to the development of the earth sciences, and show that this striking landscape was caused by volcanic activity during the Tertiary, some 50–60 million years ago.

Connected to the cliffs by a rope bridge across the Atlantic Ocean, Carrick-a-Rede Island is home to a single building - a fisherman's cottage. Suspended almost 100 ft (30 m) above sea level, the rope bridge was first erected by salmon fishermen over 250 years ago.
