smallest card paid off :D

instead of giving us lunch during training they just gave us lunch money and told us to just buy what we want so i put that in my bank for 3days and got something cheap to eat

paid my first card off

now to work on the middle card cus thats the one im using and the japanese ATM fee was $20??? so i dont wanna do cash advance again

maxxed out my medium credit card

have a debt on my smallest card

halfway to my limit on my largest card

only have $80 in the bank

not getting paid till june and its going to be a small check because theyre taking out the key money and a few other things first

im going to die

im just not eating until August ig cus i gotta use this last check coming to pay off the baby credit card the minimum on the biggest card and then use the rest to get the card i maxxed down to $1600

and i wanna have $200 set aside just in case i need cash since im not getting paid until after i get off the plane so i cant get cash before i leave

okay updates:

at the hotel rn,

got lost at both train stations because the signs make no sense

some guy who really just wanted to talk to me helped me tho, I didbt even ask,, hes cool tho, he likes sesshoumaru too

the other sim card DOES work, it just didn't work in America, my mistake,, i paid for american data today for no reason :P

my bank didn't even call to ask of it was me using my cards in Japan, and i didn't set a travel notice either , thats not concerning...

need to figure out how to make my google play Japanese so i can download the app for taxies, i think itd work better than uber here

also im torn on the passport cover, its really inconvenient, everything need s you to take the cover off so it can scan your passport

but the cover gives it a feel like nothing else i own, so i can identify it in my bag with just feeling

also the second sim is just saying no signal now

i really hope that's fine because i have to submit my Japanese phone number NOW so they can set up my apartment today

sleeping on the floor really does always make me wake up faster

teeth brushed

checked in to flight

gotta order my uber and then dismantle my wifi stuff

and i should probably pay for an internal data booster JUST IN CASE my Japanese sim dosnt work

for some reason my phone alternates between saying no signal and sim2 not allowed

so idk if its saying that because im trying it in America or if my phone doesn't accept it

at the airport

i haven't been to one since before the rona

everything is different now

you check your bag yourself , you put the tags on it yourself, the security guard ppl dont really talk anymore, they just tap signs that say what to leave in and take out your bag (the sign was wrong , the guy told me to put some of it back in my bag)

i forgot my petticoat had metallic thread, so it kept setting off the alarm (glad im wearing shorts today)

anyways i lied and said ive never been to an airport before because everything confused me, and a nice flight attendant lady helped me

boarding is at 11, so maybe i can watch more anime on my phone or figure out this sim card situation

somebody joined my row on tje airplane

theres still a seat between us, but damn it, i wanted all 3 seats

whos booking their seat 3days before the flight???? i bet its another altia person

i bet im not the only one who got a CoE last second

(glad i picked the window seat, the one i was in originally has 3ppl in that row now, it was empty at first)

im gunna check again Sunday night

if somebody sits in that middle seat im moving

i want at least 1 seat between us if possible

flight is tomorrow and theres an ENTIRE ROW of empty seats, and im tempted to move, but i got a window seat and there's still an empty seat between me and whoever got the aisle seat

wanna see the ocean, never seen her before, so i might just stay where i am

kindle is charged with my library books on it, music is updated, i got type C headphones so i dont have to worry about my Bluetooth failing in the sky the way they always do, considering downloading the anime i missed yesterday,, thatll be like 4 of the 13hrs maybe (depends on how much space i have)

going through my closet rn to see what im giving to the homeless shelter,, my clothes are all super fancy, and i remember in my shelter days id KILL for something that wasn't sweats and tshirts and ppl need nice things for interviews too if theyre signing up for housing or food stamps programs because they DO judge your appearance,, if you LOOK homeless ™ theyre l ss likely to help you because youre "not putting in effort" or something

soo ill let them have the $200 dresses and shoes if my sister doesn't want them,,

at the very least they can sell them for money

this street is so walkable omg

a clinic, a post office, a 711, 3 coffee shops, a book store, 5 restaurants, a dry cleaner, and a haor salon all in walking distance to the hotel??? yes please .. im not GOING to any of those places cus ill be getting to the hotel late and then immediately have training the next day, but if i were on vacation id love this shit

i hope wherever my apartment is is also super walkable

i don't mind the bus but i prefer to walk (or take the train TRAINS ARE SO COOL)

just got the hotel information

my passport looks like it should be here Saturday (hopefully, this is cutting it soso close) the tracking isnt giving me a projected delivery date this time for some reason

it's 1day shipping but they shipped it at 2am,, and there was more flooding cus if the tornado that passed yesterday

i gotta get a refund on the shipping label i didn't use yet and check out this hotels website

looked up the hotel on google maps, APPARENTLY uber is a thing in Japan, so im gunna use that from the train station,, by car it's 10min, by bus its 20min during rush hour and i don't really wanna walk the 45min with my suitcase

the hotel dosnt even have a street sign, it looks like a parking garage, and their website says the cheapest room is $20/night so im guessing its probably a capsule hotel type situation

but it has free wifi,, and theres a printer in the photos of the amenities??? im not sure if we are allowed to use the printer? it doesn't say on the website,but im sure id have to pay if i could
