Hebrews 10:1 KJV #Jesus
People often forget that the law includes sacrifices. The bible says there is no forgiveness/remission of sins without the shedding of blood. Once a year the Jews had to have a very gruesome ceremony with strict instructions on how to slaughter different animals for the sins of all the people.
The law has now been replaced by the righteousness of God and the once-for-all-time sacrifice of Jesus. Forgiveness is not by asking, its only possible through blood sacrifice and it is impossible for the blood of animals to remove sins of humans - so they were just a shadow pointing to Jesus at the appointed time.
Christ is now the just punishment of our sin - wages of sin being death - without us having to suffer for it. And He is also the fulfillment of the Law for us - the Righteousness of God. If the wages of sin is death, then either you pay for it or someone else pays for it, the law is a constant reminder that if you do not obey it perfectly you will die.

His Sacrifice has made us perfect as our Father in Heaven is perfect. AMAZING GRACE. It is finished. Jesus’ death replaced animal sacrifices and His Righteousness has replaced our useless law keeping that could never make us perfect.

The LORD said to Moses, "Make a snake and put it up on a pole; anyone who is bitten can look at it and live." So Moses made a bronze snake and put it up on a pole. Then when anyone was bitten by a snake and looked at the bronze snake, he lived.
Bitten by the serpent satan and headed for death, we are healed and made alive by looking up unto Jesus on that Cross.

grace is a sufficient teacher.
as the bible says “it is good for the heart to be strengthened by grace” and “it is the kindness of God that leads people to repentance”.

A new command. We are no longer under the law, but you will recall that the law was summed up in two commands 1) love your neigbour as yourself and 2) love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.
However, this comand is new because as opposed to loving your neighbour as you love yourself, we are now supposed to love our neigbour as Christ loves us.
This new command is not to acheive righteousness as righteousness is by faith this new command is a by product of our salvation, because we have been made holy by the blood of Jesus, we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to love as Jesus loved🤍

1 John 4: 16-18 if you are still afraid, you have not understood the perfection of Gods love for you through the death and ressurection of Christ Jesus. His love has made us just like Him, we are no longer dead but alive, receiving the truth of this love has crossed us over from death to life. We are alive through Christ i.e we are without blemish, so we do not come into judgement, for whoever comes into judgement will be punished.
