Anyone else think it’s interesting how Monty is able to look at everyone during this BESIDES his mom until she forces him to look at her?
She causes a monster(the devil I’m assuming) to come out of Monty, and that monster attacks everyone(even presumably his mother) It’s pretty interesting! Part of me thinks that he ends up strangling her due to him strangling Will in the next panel.

I believe Duke would’ve died if it weren’t for a certain character.
I’m SUPER happy Duke finally manifested!! I think many ppl miss this part though so lemme explain. We’ve seen other characters not be in life threatening situations to manifest(Pluto, Morella, Annabel, Ada) However, we also know they manifest due to being close to death(Berenice, Eulalie) It’s Pluto’s words that made him manifest, I genuinely feel like he wouldn’t have manifested if it weren’t for Pluto.
Because Duke KNOWS how he died yet he didn’t manifest! Even though he literally was in a life threatening situation when he saved Lenore during one of the trials in maze arc. When he’s in the wall, he’s close to death, sitting there with nothing happening. It’s interesting! Because it shows it’s different for every character(obviously) but it took extra steps.
It’s obvious that Duke, being the magician & escape artist he is, has heard “It’s all part of the trick.” MULTIPLE TIMES! It was his whole thing, his entire job. He needs to build suspense during his acts. So, that’s another reason why I believe it’s thanks to Pluto our favorite French boi manifested! Thank you Pluto 😌

Will realizing Monty didn’t, & never will give a shit about him kinda made me feel bad for him THEN Lenore yelling at him until he broke down.. like damn. ..Deserved tho tbh 😭 you are NOT getting away from what u did to Duke 😤
Will’s response when Lenore asked who he was, & he replied “I don’t know.” IS SO INTERESTING Because let’s think about it, Will practically is a NOBODY. He admits this himself. He doesn’t have much of a presence unless he’s talking to Monty. His spectre lets him turn into other people & that’s cool & all but let’s think about WHY his spectre is like this. He’s a people pleaser, naive & just a coward. Turning into other people, wearing their faces is the perfect fit for him. He doesn’t have anything interesting about him, hence the “I don’t know.” He really doesn’t know.
THEN it’s the fact that his spectre doesn’t look like him. All the spectres so far look like what they usually look like when they’re human. Will’s is just.. a bunch of faces 🤔 Makes me curious on who he was in life & how he died tbh. Some ppl say he was an actor but idk!
