Hm, if i had to say, my favorite thing about him is simply the depth of story possible with him. He's been through alot story wise, so theres endless room for imagining scenarios of what he's done/experienced!

Actually, actually...no, my favorite thing about this guy is the horror of his story. The idea of some eldritch being offering a faustian bargain to someone, something never meant to break its protocol of simply doing what everyone else like him is supposed to do. I've heard the "Weird cup" analogy before, that if a cup suddenly decided it didn't want to say, hold liquid, it'd be a weird cup, and subsequentially be ostracized. Furthermore on the horror, the whole eldritch madness perspective on him (i presume) having caught a glimpse of the light world. The "ant seeing the world as a human, then becoming an ant again" post comes to mind. Probably a niche reference. Anyway, yeah, a combo of the two then, they go hand in hand for me.

Least favorite, hm...can't say i have a specific "least favorite" thing about him, but i'll be thinking on that. He's been my main thinking character since ch2 came out, but i haven't really found a specific thing to hate i guess.

Recently, scenarios i've imagined about him have been focused on either his big shot era descent, or a begrudging reunion with the addisons from the street he first advertised on (thats for a later post). His BS era allows for a sort of psychological horror situation, his building paranoia over the idea that he'll be outed as a fraud, his slow change from just a weird addison to something that shouldn't exist digitally at all, half physical machine, half program even. The realization that he's alone in his thoughts, no one else has wanted to be someone else, they couldn't imagine being "something else", and that he's the single weirdest cup they've ever met.

And the addisons, the closest thing he had to actual friends, if only for a few years before he started his ascent. They've sorta experienced his whole arc firsthand, at least one of them must have stepped out of their protocol to go check his apartment at the manor. Maybe his actions leaked over to them, a secondhand smoke from a burning building that they couldn't help but breathe in. Maybe in a hushed voice, a meeting at the cyber grill, one of them would tell them that they want to know what he's seen. Like shrimp colors, cones of vision unpercieveable to anyone but him, "but can you describe its form?"

" What could you have seen, been told, experienced, to cause all this?"

"And, can i see it too?"

Aaaanyway, i got very off track, i tend to get a writer-y when i go on rants like this, so, sorry about that. I hope this is a fun read at least!

Man i love looking at a piece of media that im interested in that happens to have a fantasy/sci fi setting and thinking "ah yes. i need to flesh out this world far past what the creators even considered while making it or else my project i won't show anyone won't be cool enough." Its like a Sisyphean task that no one asked me to do and it fuels me.

Of course!! Im glad to hear you liked them! One i'll add real quick, is i imagine that he used a thorn ring himself at one point, maybe the cause of his unnatural success in his prime even! Something i need to flesh out more, really.

Hi!! Can I pester you for your headcanons on Spamton?

Sure!! I have plenty of random headcanons i've developed over time, so bear with me here-

Okay so its been a minute since i really considered these, so let me think. One thing i'll note is that i have this habit where i try to keep any takes i have on a character as canon as possible, so i've weeded out alot of the more outlandlish stuff over time. Starting under cut.

Starting off, I like to think that his cat element kinda aids in his life on the streets, in that he can manuver around the alleyways and whatnot of cyber city in more cat-like ways. Climbing walls, perching up on high vantage points, ect. Maybe the element is from a virus even? Anyway, off track.

Okay overall, less wordy headcanons.

-Spamton, through whatever process happened post Mike, is sorta a halfway point between robot and the strange digital entity that Addisons are. He's plastic and metal, but isn't entirely so. Can still move his face and whatnot.

-Addisons don't need sleep, but Spamton kinda does because of many different factors, the glitches being one of them. Its moreso just a luxury he held onto from the mansion days.

-I don't see it touched on much, but i like to think that he didn't go straight from the mansion to the trash, he had an in-between of living in some sketchy cyber-motels and trying to scrounge up easy work.

-I, for one, do in fact believe in the acid theory. Its simply brought up too much to be a red herring to me.

-Random nothing headcanon, i like to think of his current suit as just his big shot suit thats gotten dirty/stained over time, not a different one.

-Pipis are a virus in themselves, a worm virus specifically. It essentially makes whoever's infected with it completely endeared to the "eggs", thusly they keep the virus and spread it. I haven't developed it too much past that however.

-I liked a post earlier about this one, i think he'd enjoys art as well! He may not do it much, but i imagine he painted the wall behind the shopfront, so i imagine he probably does similar art stuff to try and emulate whatever divine visions he's seen.

Theres more, i know it, but i can't for the life of me think of em right now. I'll reply to this post later if i remember any good ones!
