Hello again, my journal.
Today has been rather hectic.
We thought we had the day off, but due to some issues with another vessel within our fleet, we had to rush to ours in order to pick up the slack.
I won't lie, things are not looking great so far, given the situation. I'm not at liberty to say what exactly however, but I'm not all too sure about this contract.
But, aside from that, I'm getting along decently with the crew. Both in my shift as well as the other shift.
Right now, it's time to relax a little before we have to get up early tomorrow.
Not much else that I can add at the moment, really.
So with that, I bid you a good night.

ok. icebreaker-type question. imagine time travel exists, but all of the serious super big things that likely come to mind when time travel is a factor is stuff youre not “qualified” for, as a civilian. what stupid, petty, thing do you use time travel for?
personally, i’d buy this one limited-time pin from a con i had no chance of going to, and also buy some transformers animated toys while they were still being sold.

-= Duties done: Unmooring, engine room rounds and inspections, transfer of passengers, inspecting firefighting equipment, first aid kits and other lifesaving appliances, navigational watch, testing communication equipment. =-
Hello again, dear journal.
Today has been another very active day, and we're not yet done. As I'm writing this, we're still standing by for the call to come and pick up the personnel we dropped off earlier today.
But, there was a lot that got done today, leaving me with a little bit of free time to just lay back in my bunk for a few, letting the rolling of the vessel rock me gently as I lie.
There's more to do soon enough, so a small bit of respite from the hectic work is more than welcome.
With that said, I'll be signing off to read a little bit.

I’ve seen multiple takes on Twitter along the lines of “erm see they made it bad to crunch so now games take forever to get made and that’s why studios are closing!” (Basically thinly veiled “it’s the Wokes ruining games” again) And I’m just like. What universe are you living in where crunch doesn’t exist???? Even “no crunch” studios still do it. They tell you “oh it’s not required” but if you don’t you’re “realllly letting the rest of your team down” and oh your employee rating just went down so when they’re doing performance updates you’re probably gonna get axed, but it’s totally not required! But yeah. Let’s blame better working conditions on studio closings and not. Idk the $350,000,000 bonus some absolute loser gets for being a CEO or whatever
