This one is a little all over the place but tbh I don't care, the topic is important enough to bring up anyway. Someone's identity is their own business, whether they "look the part" or not. If you want to express yours with your looks, good for you. If you don't want to, good for you.

Spellsinger, 2021
Decided to draw Theodius as a Finnish runonlaulaja, a type of singer/storyteller who performs stories and folk tales in the form of sung poetry. Spells have also been performed in this form, apparently! The thought here was "what if I placed my characters in a DnD AU and Theodius was a bard", which was hilarious (he has no musical ability whatsoever) so naturally he would be a runonlaulaja, playing a small kantele. You'd normally hold a kantele on a flat surface or on your lap, but well, since when have bards ever followed the rules?

Too old, 2021
Some thoughts about age and creativity that I personally struggle with. There are some prevalent myths in artist circles that 'real' artists pursue their one passion from the cradle and that you should be successful in this or that by a certain age, which can be difficult to dismantle in your own head. Here's my process so far.
