She was not the person he wanted to see that early in the morning. Unable to get much sleep the night before, he did not have the energy to get into a fight with Miss Tohsaka.
Yet, he knew that as the Student Council President he should be polite, even if he did not have the energy to do so. As he got close to her in the hallway, he nodded and gave her a grumbled, “Good morning, Tohsaka.”

Issei ran a hand through his hair. It’s okay, you ask to do this every day. Sure, he was busy yesterday, but that doesn’t mean that he’ll be busy today, right? So, just, go and ask.
He pushed himself up from his desk and rooted through his bag for two lunches. His brother had been given some treats from the temple-goers. Issei was simply hoping that Shirou would like it.
Issei made his way to Shirou’s desk and smiled, holding up one of the neatly wrapped lunch boxes. He was not going to mention how long he had retied the knot in attempt to make it look good.
“Are you free for lunch, Emiya?”

Despite what his fellow classmates called him, he was not a hall monitor. That did not mean that he would not watch as people walked the halls in between breaks to make sure that some decency was being upheld. This usually meant telling people to tuck their shirts in or stopping tiny fights as they started up.
Issei did not expect to spot someone who was doing a very bad job at not looking suspicious. If he was a new student, he must have arrived today.
“I don’t remember being alerted of a new student,” Issei said to himself. “Well, it’s important for the school president to say hello.” He nodded and made his way over to the blonde himself.
“Hello, you must be a new student here, I am the Student Council President, Ryuudou Issei.”
“I apologize for not being able to make you acquaintance earlier! The teachers had not alerted me that a new student would be arriving today!”

Issei smiled faintly and looked down at his feet. “Yes, I have had the pleasure of meeting Saber. She demonstrates a strength I can admire in someone.” He let out a small laugh, reminiscing on that day he had gone to the Emiya household to make sure everything was still okay.
He rolled his eyes at the comment about Rin. Issei crossed his arms. “That’s one way to put it!” He certainly had more to say about Miss Tohsaka. The only thing he would not say about her is that she was a ‘good person’. “However, she’s less of a good person and more of a nuisance! I’d prefer if she disappeared off of the face of the earth!”
He sighed and placed his hand in front of his face to regain his composure. “I’m sorry, I suppose I get a little over the top when I think about Miss Tohsaka.”
At his question, Issei cocked his head to the side. “Was it supposed to be a challenge?” he asked, studying him. He gave a cocky smirk. “I mean, I’m not the top of our class for nothing!”
He shrugged. “Plus, it’s not like you’ve changed much, old friend.”
